This has nothing to do with what I said sir...at all...I asked you to reread 1 John 5 to understand that what is said in this passage is that JESUS, who came forth from GOD and into the world, came not by ¨ẄATER" only....do you know what ¨WATER¨ is? If not, you might want to review John 4

Theoretically, it is speaking of His Baptism and His shedding of His Blood. He was our example of how we need to live. He was our Sacrifice. But that does not remove from the fact that He is still the WORD, which is Spirit!

Actually the thread was asking to explain the trinity.

We are body, soul and spirit...but we are one entity.

GOD...came in our likeness, in the form of flesh...but there is only ONE SPIRIT and ONE GOD...regardless of three ¨persons" of that ONE entity...

Yes, but a human does not need a spirit to exist, where the Triune God does need all 3 equal parts.
The reason Science is incorrect in claiming we are basically animals is because of our soul. But remove the soul, we still exist, but just as higher evolved animals. So, we do not need a soul to exist. But God needs ALL 3 EQUAL PARTS TO BE THE ONE GOD!

So the example of human and triune God is factually incorrect!

My pets have a body and a mind and they are among the LIVING. We could not have a soul and because we still have a mind and body would be among the LIVING. But the Triune God MUST HAVE ALL THREE EQUAL PARTS to be the ONE GOD!

I cringe at the mind-body-spirit = Triune God because I know those people are factually clueless!

"WORD" s actually an indication of soul, not spirit. Logos means "reason"...where we get "logic", this is the faculty of the soul

No it is not!
Reasoning comes from the mind.

The Devil never made me do a thing wrong, my own reasoning did (my mind)!

When I did drugs, drank, chased wild women, sin, sin, sin.......I did it all because my mind reasoned it would be fun and good for me. My SOUL had nothing to do with it.

The Bible does not even make this claim.
The way that teachers and scholars and students have discovered the difference and meaning of "soul" and "spirit" is by looking every occurrence of these words in the Bible. When you see how the "soul" operates, you get a better picture of what it is. Same with the spirit and body.
For example:

From just one verse, we can deduce that the soul contains knowledge. Of course these principles will be consistent throughout the Bible because it is flawless.
Here's a supporting verse or 2:

The proverbs verse not only corroborates the psalm, but it also offers understanding of the heart and its function and what it can receive. This is extremely extensive topic that I won't go into here. But If you look at every time body, soul, spirit (and their synonyms), you can see a clear distinction between the three and also understand their functions. Sometimes terms are used interchangeably to make a poetic point.

From the verses above, we can see that knowledge resides primarily in the mind, and wisdom resides primarily in the heart.
heart is usually the synonym for spirit
mind is usually the synonym for soul

What you are speaking about when the mind is connected to soul or vice a versa is called REINCARNATION!

From the entire council of God (The whole Bible), we can see clearly that the "soul" is the mind, will and emotions. That is the Biblical usage of those words in the Old and New Testament. Whatever your idea is, is from somewhere else.

And that is why the term never let your FEELINGS override your Thinking.

Feelings are from the soul, but Thinking is only from the mind.

You are ignoring the Bible. I literally just proved that wrong

You are walking down a dark alley in a place you have never been before. Your mind is already on alert. Suddenly a shadow appears and your heart panics. This is where Jesus said, HAVE NO FEAR! Just because your heart is panicking and you have fear, your mind is to be separated to know that God is with you. Totally separate the mind and soul!

I know when my body feels good my mind is at ease. But it does not mean the 2 are the same, it just means 1 reaction causes the other. You should study the human anatomy. God is the original Scientist, so never discredit science because you view it as the enemy,. It can never be the enemy because God created it!

Your experience doesn't define scripture.
