“We give thanks to thee, Lord God Almighty, who art and who wast,
that thou hast taken thy great power and begun to reign.
18 The nations raged, but thy wrath came,
and the time for the dead to be judged,
for rewarding thy servants, the prophets and saints,
and those who fear thy name, both small and great,
and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.” Rev 11:17-18

This is spoken at the 7th trumpet; if the dead are to be judged here, what about the living?

brother we’re being judged every day in Christ that’s why we need to embrace repentance and get baptized for remission

“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭4:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

each of us has the judge living inside every word and deed is accounted when we die like everyone we have a court date

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s spoken to the church. Jesus word is the judgement all
Mankind faces when we hear it and believe we’re getting an advance of the judgement we can repent and come into obedience before that day we all must face

there is a judgement for us in Christ and hen a jidgement for the dead who rejected him we can accept it now and get ready or face it later and not be prepared. it’s why the gospel is so important to be preached and heard and believed That’s Gods eternal judgement.

“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

when we go face the lord for all we’ve done we can have remission of sins or we can go answer for every one not having repented and had then remitted in Christs death

Now is our judgement who live in Christ each day

2 Thess 2 Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our assembling to meet him, we beg you, brethren, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or excited, either by spirit or by word, or by letter purporting to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come.

Since the dead do not assemble Paul is speaking of those alive of flesh and blood

Just because the passage mentioned that the dead will be judged does not mean the living shall not be judged also..

The main Judgement of the sinners' souls will take place at the Great White Throne Judgement, which occurs after the 1000-year reign of Christ on Earth.

Yes.

Much wrath shall be poured out upon those who are not ready when the Bridegroom cometh in clouds for His Bride. Also, at the time of His Second Coming.

Revelation
4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about [him]; and [they were] full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Revelation
11:14 The second woe is past; [and], behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Is The Great White Throne Judgement for Christians?
Good question with simple answer...

No. It is The Judgement of the Damnable Ones who rejected the Gift of God's Son.

It is referred to here....

Revelation
20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is [the book] of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Blessed is he that hath part in the first resurrection, but this is the second. Note that these will be judged according to their works, because they (the unsaved) are not covered by the Blood.

God's elects already had their judgment finished when Christ died and paid the price. Only two times,
great white throne happens. The cross=God's elect. Jesus 2nd coming=judgment on all nonelect.

It seems that you are misunderstanding this passage. It does not say that the "dead are to be judged here". What it does say is "and the time of the dead, that they should be judged" . Big difference.

So what we have in these two verses is an overview of the events described in Revelation, with the final phase stated at the beginning: 17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned. 18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

Putting these events in chronological sequence, this is what we see:
1. The nations were angry (the armies of the Antichrist at the battle of Armageddon)
2. Thy wrath is come (the Second of Christ bringing the wrath of God and of the Lamb)
3. Destroy them which destroy the earth (Christ destroys all the enemies of God and mankind)
4. And hast reigned (Christ establishes His Millennial Kingdom on earth)
5. Give reward to thy servants and saints (they reign with Christ over the nations having received their rewards)
6. The time of the dead, that they should be judged (the Great White Throne judgment)

I have a feeling judgement is indeed coming I had a dream a few nights ago where I was going to an elderly mans house to help him with something in his house I saw him come out of a room to the right and we were just talking when in mid sentence his tone changed to a prophetic kind of tone saying Blain it's going to be ok and quoted Isaiah 1$-7
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the Lord, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.

7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land, strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers

soon after suddenly I was in a place of shelter where there was plenty of food and drinks and we were all safe but outside this place of safety there was danger everywhere and very little food and drinks I walmost want to say there was war.

The way I see it, this is looking ahead in time, as John does quite often.

The "wrath" is the day of the Lord, looking ahead to the battle of Armageddon with the anti-christ.

The "rewarding the servants" is looking ahead to the rewards given at the Bema Seat to the faithful.

The last line is resorts back in reference to the "destroyer" the anti-christ and the armies with him.

The idea is that the "destroyer" is going to be destroyed.

Both the dead in Christ and the living in Christ are judged at the 7th trump.

Act_10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

2Ti_4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

1Pe 4:5 Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

Quick means the living.

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The Christians are alive when the dead rise to be judged and the judgment is only for those dead that rose which the Christians do not get judged at the great white throne judgment for they are saved and all their sins forgiven when the great white throne judgment takes place.

The dead who rose if there name is not written in the book of life will be cast in to the lake of fire which means some people can make it to have eternal life.

God is a fair God and will not condemn people who have not heard the word of God.

If they heard the word of God and rejected it then they will be condemned but what if they did not hear what needed to be heard to convince them.

Those that have not heard the word of God will be judged on their belief in a higher power and their conscience.

Creation testifies that there is a higher power and of His attributes which one of them is love for He provided food, and the means to make clothing and shelter so the world is without excuse, and testifies of the 2 greatest laws love God and love people for if God provided for the needs of people He loves them so they should love this higher power and love people.

At the great white throne judgement if they believed in a higher power, and loved people by not offending them which love is the fulfilling of the law, and asked God for forgiveness if anything is amiss they should be saved.

Final Reaping of the earth

Reaping the Earth’s Harvest
14 Then I looked, and lo, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat upon the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.” 16 So he who sat upon the cloud swung his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

No righteous souls left on the earth just before the bowl judgements
