I want you to prove to me that you are who you claim God has made you to be, a prophet. I will put my life on the line. I would like for you to give a prophecy about me, not just generalities but something specific about me personally that I know and God knows but no one else does. If you can give me something specific and it is true about me, and it came from God's Spirit and not another (s)pirit, I will be honest and confirm it and will be honored to confirm the legitimacy of the gift you claim God has given you. I am not tempting you or the Lord, but I am proving all things and holding fast to that which is good according to (1Thes 5:21). Offering myself in this proof is the only way I know to lay my life down in this situation. God knows my heart and my intentions on this matter, so you do not have to be hesitant in your inquiry about me because I was made from the dust just like other men.

If you are prophet there is no need to fear. I am just one member of the church and body of Christ but if you fear any man that is a snare (Prov 29:25). God has not given you a spirit of fear, so you have the liberty you need to make this inquiry of the Lord and not feel like you are judging or attempting to make a false prophecy or accusation against another. If you do want or desire to do this, then send me a PM and I will understand and tell no one because it will be done in confidence. I hope you understand that.

He's not asking for a sign. He's not asking god to prove himself, he's asking a self proclaimed prophet to prove himself. there is a difference. prophets are supposed to be able to be verified.. not have everyone accept that person is a prophet just because they claim they are and spout off spiritual sounding messages in the name of prophecy. things that, so far, have no way to be proven are from god to begin with. so if he wants to claim the title he needs to be prepared to be able to support that claim. if he can't, then he's no prophet. that simple.
The proof is in anything the man has ever posted. Which has always been the word of God and leading people to God. That is the proof.
I could ask you to prove to me you are a Christian.
This is not some side show in the circus. This man has done nothing but show love for the brothers and the sisters and he is being attacked.
To verify is to see the fruit. He cares. He loves. He is trying to get people to come to God that is the proof.
Can be proven from God by any spirit filled Christian. Spirit to spirit.
Do not take scriptures out of context. Just prior to this saying, Jesus had exorcised a demon. The Pharisee's claimed that he did it by the power of Satan. If they did not believe in Jesus after the exorcism, then they also would not have believed in a sign. This, they would have claimed, he did by the power of Satan as well.

Jesus provided John the Baptist with proof. And he was a prophet!
However, you are right. We should not seek after signs, and I don't believe Red is. But we do require proof. And a prophet should not be afraid of being examined, as the ones on this site have proven to be.

You need to explain why this is witchcraft? We are all believer-priests and all that has been asked of him is to inquired of the Lord, on my behalf, and make this request known if he so chooses (Phil 4:6). I am not saying that he is in rebellion, nor am I. We have access to God by faith and if you believe in the gifts of the Spirit, perhaps the gift of knowledge would be given in this instance (1Cor 12:8). Do you know the mind of the Lord in this matter, if not then let is be.

Could you at least consider some of the principles and implications in the following passage and give some kind of creedance to your faith and understanding of what is being asked...
