Christianity is a relationship

and it's all about the heart

so guard your heart

and the power of Phil 4:8
can "provoke envy to save the unsaved" (Romans 11:14)

for salvation
God's help is necessary for
whole-heartedness

Jesus, forgive me a sinner, thank you, amen

this OP was quick? um, need more? well, thank God for "hunger more for God's word" comes from God himself, and for this big-picture perspective as well

and also, actions naturally comes from the heart, so focus on the heart and you'd be fine

Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV) The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Christianity is about Jesus Christ and Him crucified, without which, there would be no relationship possible.

I don't know why I'm having trouble with this.
I believe Christianity is identity, scripture tells us you will know them by there fruits. Scripture also tell us Jesus was told by the rabbi's
"We know you were sent by God " by the things you say and do.
Jesus also asked...who do you say I am.

I was thinking today why continually reading scripture in a certain way is difficult.
And the answer is because it is very concentrated and focused on a particular theme.

Sometimes we wish to be focused on other themes and do not want too many distractions.

But then Jesus is the author and source of all and we need to go here and honour that which is
true in Him, and let Him speak to us each day, Amen.

I think the key component is a heart focused on the heart of Him. He is our hope and only He truly knows our hearts. However, He tells us to examine our hearts and to renew our thoughts towards Him. He gives us Himself so it is best we come into agreement as much as we are able. I am so grateful for His mercy and guidance.

Man would never desire this new heart unless God grant the desire for a new heart, and God can use your words to draw people
That's why I said 'us'...it should also be the desire of the Christian's heart..to be renewed.

Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10 (KJV)

Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV) The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Christianity is about Jesus Christ and Him crucified, without which, there would be no relationship possible.
But “why” was Jesus Christ crucified?

.......to reconcile us back to the Father....to reunite us back in a relationship with our Heavenly Father that wants to talk to us in the cool of the day and teach us His ways.......this is Christianity....reconciled to our Father because He loves us and refuses to live without us.
