Every time I sinned I understood more about the grace of God. I understood more about the effect that that sin had and why I shouldn't have done it. One could call me a cliff runner. Someone that see how close to the cliff they can run. (Yeah, I know, not the smartest thing to do)

Which is why I am making this thread. For all those would be cliff runners and those who stay far away from it.

God gave ten commandments. Now with our "own" arrogance and intelligence we pressume we can somehow lessen the commandments and therefore excuse ourself by being self rightious and then we say we aren't really that bad.

So here is a tip for those people who truly want to follow Christ, hasn't done much wrong and are curious about a few things.

First off. Love the Lord Your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind and your neighbour as yourself.
Now do this literally. Now you might want to say to me... oh but you are still a child of God so you are still fine, so why can't we do it. Well here is why... because every action has consequences. See people don't tell you about the months you are going to be crying yourself to sleep. Or how you struggle for months on end just to hear a whisper from God. People don't tell you how they get sick and all the problems they are having because of the sin. They don't tell you of how it feels like when you fight with you loved one, and you know the very core reason why you are fighting about trivial things is because there is a spiritual gap between you and that person and no matter how many times you are crying or on your knees it never seems to cease. People don't tell you about all the repercussions of all those "little" changes you make. Oh no.

So what do I mean if I say love the Lord your God. Well everything you do, do it as if you are doing it for God. That means if you are pirating movies... nope that is against God's will for it is against his very being. If you are sleeping with others before marriage... nope that is adultery, if you are watching porn... nope that is adultery. If you desire anything from someone else, that is against the commandments of God. No. Love. I wish I could go back in time and change the sins I did, for even though they are forgiven me by God, the repercussions of them were and is so severe that I wouldn't wish it on my enemy. But alas, I realised it too late. And there is nothing I can do about that part of my life but to bear the pain and the thorns.

But to those that are still innocent. That keep themselves pure for their marriage... I pray thee... pray for your would be partners that they do not fall into the traps of satan. Keep on praying and stay pure. Even if you are engaged. Pray. Pray. Pray.

Please if you are a person that have kept the ways of God, do not listen to the cunning words of the people around you. Do NOT find acceptable what they find acceptable. Rather spend more time with God. There isn't a second chance. Forgiveness you will receive, but the punishment for those sins are still unbearable.

Bad news...there may be no eternal damnation for some peoples sins. But there will always be
at least a temporal consequence you can be sure of that. Unless God shows mercy.
He is not mocked you will reap what you sow.
Among the promises of God there are negative ones just as faithful as the positive ones.
Sin causes death period.
