True liberty in Christ does not mean that, since Jesus died for forgiveness of sins, that you are now free to obey your sinful nature. However, what it does mean is that Christ died so that we have no longer have to bow down to sin, but have been given a new nature through the power and presence of Christ within us, the Holy Spirit.

The blood of Christ does not cover our sins, it washes away our sin, as well as our sinful behavior. It does not only forgives our sins, it also changes our behavior, producing a moral transformation in the life of the believer. The blood brings forth a new righteous creation that God is looking for under the new covenant, we become the very image of Christ.

So do we become immortal and completely sinless?

Are we unable to sin then?

What aer you saying?

I think 4runner is saying that if we position ourselves in Christ sanctification continues in us, being convicted after knowing better and calling out to God to deliver us from. We need, I feel to partake in that process and not give in to the flesh, with every temptation God has made the way out, if we stumble we need but to look to Jesus knowing we aren't condemned for it and keep walking with Him.

James 1:25
(25) But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
James 2:12
(12) So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
John 8:33-36
(33) They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?
(34) Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
(35) And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
(36) If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Romans 6:18
(18) Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Romans 8:1-2
(1) There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
(2) For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

In order to be free we need to be set free by the Spirit:- we need a touch of God in our lives so that we are in awe of him and will hold fast onto fighting our flesh and its nature by the Spirit.

For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do. (Galatians 5:17)

True liberty, it seems to me, is being free from the consequences of sin.

To attain that, we need to stop sinning, it would seem to me.

1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

People who are born again cannot sin!
When they do sin it is because they were drawn away from God.
I believe it's possible not to sin.
I believe it is possible for someone saved to sin.

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
