old or new covenant. see one is finished, that s why there is a new one.
yet i have given scripture to connect my proof, you have gave no proof, so your a liar, or blind.
already quoted.
15 Therefore he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, since a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant.Hebrews 9
One covenant establisheda perfect law not subject to change by another covenant. The covenant in the first place has never been in respect to the flesh of people or nations but a convent of God’s written law. Called the book of the covenant.
There is not one covenant for the Jews and another for the gentile. As if God was a respecter of persons and was pursuing two different brides.
Exo 34:27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou
these words: for after the
tenor of
these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.
The new covenant is the reformed covenant promised in the older portion. The younger of the two that makes up whole perfect one law of God .
It began when Christ said it is finished. It is not new in so much that it is separate from the old. But rather completes the old extending it through to the last day. This is so we which are
called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance just as they were called by the
first. Both together receiving the same promise in the twinkling of the eye all who have the "Spirit of Christ" will receive the new incorruptible bodies. .
The new covenant represents the last days . The generation of Christ .This is because of the reformation. It restored the order to the time period of Judges when there was no external representation and men walked by faith (the unseen representative ).
In any generation if any man has not the Spirit of Christ then neither do they belong to God .They would not be born again and therefore have not passed from death to eternal life.
The younger or most recent part of the one covenant of God confirms the Spirit of Christ did live in those saints. The only difference is we look back to the suffering while the Spirit of promise gave them the faith to look ahead.
1Pe 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was
in them did signify, when
it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
The glory that did follow called the first resurrection.
It brought the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, the "called ones" that might receive the promise of eternal inheritance just as we are seeing when we die it is in respect to the first resurrection. This is unless a saint that is alive here reigning with Christ . They alone will not experience death but will be changed .I think we could say like the parables using Enoch and Elijah .Two witnesses that were used to show what will happen on the last day when this present earth and universe will vanish out of sight and the new comes in.
The second or last resurrection will be when those who remain alive on earth reigning with Christ on the last day will be caught up with other members of the same bride who were dead alseep and both will receive their new bodies in the new heavens and earth. That will be the second and final resurrection. The end of the age. The end of the law that brought death this is because now the first heavens and earth has passed away. That law of Moses will not enter the promised eternal land , the heavenly new Jerusalem as the mother of us all
Luke 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.
One calling, two resurrections
Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the "new testament", that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions
that were under the first testament, “they which are
called” might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
