Agree completely, but just for clarification:
I don't think that anybody is suggesting that homosexuality is not a sin. Generally I think we're discussing how to deal with it as a community.

People are quick to throw stones, even though Jesus told us not to.

We deal with it as a community by rejecting it as a social norm;
I plead with those of such persuasion to amend their actions and repent;
We admonish them socially as we do with other sinful acts of such character that is harmful to not only them but social standards as a whole.
It is a chosen life style and is an abomination to God and what He stands for.

The world has gotten to where homosexuality is not just accepted but celebrated. This not only condemns gay people but is just more ammunition for the government to use against christians. The liberals crying for commumion is another front. California denying worship due to the covid farce is another example. @ Mark47Oz. You know what scripture says. The choice is yours.
Amen.

Throwing stones in the situation discussed is nonsense. But people keep throwing it out there. Did Jesus tell the harlot to go now and jump back in bed with married men? No. He said, go now and SIN NO MORE.

I think that we’re all sinners homosexuals also liars also adulterers ect we all have sins that Gods willing to forgive , the condition is repentance

a liar has to stop lying because they don’t want to serve thier flesh will and desire

The same for homosexuals they have to repent of thier sin also rather than trying to use Jesus to condone and accept thier sin with the person

now , the worldly argument is “ that’s just how they were born not thier fault”

the biblical argument is “ Satan is the root of our sinful desires that oppose Gods will and desire for us that’s good and right

we shouldn’t think a homosexual is worse than even a liar , but we have to acknowledge the truth and come to repentance either way no matter what our particular sins and struggles are we don’t get to change what God said is an abomination and will send them to hell and condone it based on the worlds sympathy and decision that it’s normal and acceptable

no Christian should try to judge and forbid a homosexual from coming to Jesus , but we also oils never explain that what hey are doing is approved by God in fact we are told to tell the truth about sin so they know to repent

the problem is that the world has all these ideas about right and wrong , and then God the creator has all these other ideas that he says ok give eternal
Life and the worlds ways will lead to eternal damnation

every man is free to choose Thier own lists and desires and live a good life on earth depending on what they do

then the Bible explains that we all have to be judged according to what God said after we die, for the way we lived our life. Did we lie and cheat and steal our way through ? Did we consider ourselves high and look down on other sinners we didn’t approve of ? Did we love Tom please our own desires that God tells us will lead to damnation ? Or did we ever acknowledge the truth and repent and escape the devils deception in the world that tells us Gods word doesn’t apply anymore

“And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:24-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s okay to acknowledge we’re sinners , it’s not okay to condone and continue in those sins were made aware of is the thing it’s asensetive thing to the world but not even a question about this to God it’s another thing man needs to come to repentance for like Dodson and Gomorrah never did
I have never heard any Christian tell anyone not to come to Christ....have you? So why suggest that in comment?

Telling a homosexual to mend their ways and repent is no different than telling any other sinner to amend their ways and repent.
A sin is a sin.

Telling any sinner to amend and repent is not throwing stones. Why do you suggest such?

I read what you posted.
That is exactly what the above says. Show where a stone is thrown?
If you made a mistake...just say so.

Did I miss it?! Did anyone say to @Mark that they would be praying for him? Did anyone say message me if you need a friend, someone to talk to? Did anyone say " I have struggles too brother, let's pray for each other?" Did I miss that? Did anyone reach out in any way? Because I don't think anyone did.

I'm a married woman, do you think it's appropriate for me to do? If this was a female, I would have done so. Do you not think this is an instance where the brethren ought to be reaching out? And not to be nasty, but it didn't take you long to turn that around instead of answering the question.

I'm sure a lot of people would've if he had asked.

I didn't sense any humility him. He seemed to be here to say: Bible-thumpers bad, gay Christians good. He wanted to tell a sob story and hope people would feel sorry for him; a story he's probably repeated a million times. Sorry if this seem cynical, but he seemed proud of the fact he's gay, not repentant.

A sin is a sin.
I’m lol ues I have heard more than one Christian tellA homosexual Christ wouldn’t have them . And I’ve also heard Christians tell homosexuals Christ will accept their sin because of the cross and he approves now

it probably depends on who we’ve dealt with in life what we have each heard Christians say, so that’s why I wrote that part we shouldn’t tell anyone Christ won’t have them , but we also shouldn’t erase repentance required for liars , homosexuals , and the many other things we all have done or still do we have to repent period and homosexuals aren’t going to be lost worse than liars or thieves I am pretty sure we agree actually

that was my point sin is sin a liar is going to hell like all
Sinners

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:8‬ ‭

When we take a position like some do , some not you specifically , that sin is acceptable whether it’s the urge and desire for homosexual sex or any other perverted sexual behavior of which there are many , it’s all defiling Gods temple

we become unbelievers when faced with Gods judgement and our sinful desires and we refuse to repent to his right ways

The fact that you are female is your excuse? Did you miss the part that he is gay? He isnt interested in you or any other woman.

No, it's not an excuse.Except for a handful of men I trust here, I do not make a habit of contacting men, gay or otherwise.Funny how some men harp about being the leader, and yet change their mind so quickly when the opportunity comes. And you still didn't answer the question.

I told him what he already knows. He chooses to ignore scripture and live in sin. Since my wife passed 6 years ago ive lived in celibacy and trust me, I like sex, but choose my soul over the sin of fornication. So i can testify its doable.
