If we want to ask forgiveness from people we have harmed, and pay restitution, that is another issue.
Sinning against another person who is made in the image of God is sinning against God, for example: dishonoring your parents, murder, adultery, theft, lying, coveting.
Jesus does expect us to be obidient to His commands. And what were the only two he isted in order. Love God...Love your neighbor. The rest he did not put in any list of importace.

So, go look it up, what did Jesus command? Did he say dont murderr? Lie, cheat , fornicate?
Jesus is God. Loving God means being obedient to Him and His moral law, and loving others includes not sinning or trespassing against them.

Under your antinomian view, if the parable of the good Samaritan is put in today's context, if he believed he was saved because he said a sinners prayer and "repented", it would be perfectly alright for this "good" Samaritan, after he saw the injured and brought the injured to a hospital, to then go and find the injured's home, commit adultery with the injured's wife, satisfy his pedophilia by raping the injured's 9 year old daughter, steal the injured's valuables, and curse God for his being a half-breed Samaritan. According to your view, the good Samaritan can live like the devil, because according to your view, all of his present and future sins have been forgiven, so he might as well have as much worldly pleasure as he can possibly muster.

Jesus's moral commands are for every generation. Because Jesus is the Word, and the Word is God, and was in the beginning with God, Jesus gave to Moses His moral law,, the Decalogue, the Ten Commandments: you shall not murder, lie, steal, commit adultery, covet, dishonor your parents, use God's name in vain, have any other gods, create and worship any graven image, do any work on the Sabbath.

You are not a Christian when you are living like the devil.

You are stiff necked. I pity you and those you speak to about the Lord.
OH, AND I HAVE MY REASONS FOR USING CAPS.

YEA, YOU ARE SAVED BY GODS GRACE, QUESTION IS, DOES HE TAKE IT BACK IF YOU SIN TOO MUCH?
YOU DO SIN RIGHT?
HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH SO THAT YOU LOSE YOUR SALVATION?

BUT YOU STILL CANT POINT OUT ONE SINGLE TIME JESUS SAID "THOU SHALT NO..." AND THE GAVE A SPECIFIC SIN TO NOT COMMIT.

WHEN THE APOSTLES WROTE LETTERS TO THE CHURCHES, THEY TOLD THEM NOT TO ASSOCIATE WITH ADULTERES, TAX COLLECTORS, PROSTITUES, ETC
THAT WAS BECAUSE THE MEMBERS THEN WERE NEW . THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT HAVING CONTINUOUS FELLOWSHIP WITH THEM, NOT TO AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS.

JESUS DIDNT WIPE OUT THE OT LAWS, HE FULFILLED THEM. BUT WE ARE TO NO LONGER FOCUS ON NOT SINNING, INSTEAD DIRECT YOUR ATTENTION TO SPREADING THE WORD AND LOVE OF GOD. WHEN YOU DO THAT, A NATURAL CONSEQUENCE IS LESS SINNING.
ITS NOT LIKE MY GOAL IS TO SIN MORE, DONT U UNDERSTAND THAT?

AND TO PIGEON HOLE ME LIKE AN ANTINOMIASM, IS JUST LAZY ON YOUR PART. I DONT FOLLOW THAT OR ANY OTHER PREACHER OR SECT, I FOLLOW JESUS.

"AT WHAT POINT DID YOU BECOME PERFECT, IN BEHAVIOR AND IN YOUR "I KNOW IT ALL" ATTITUDE ABOUT SCRIPTURE?"

Also:
"I HAVE FORGOTTEN MORE THEOLOGY THAN YOU PROBABLY KNOW, I HAVE DECADES MORE EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH THAN U."

And also:
"THERE U GO, JUDGING ME AGAIN".

The hypocrisy is strong with this one. 😂😂
To be an effective troll you'll need a better shtick than hypocrite. 😉
I DIDNT CRITICIZE ANYONE, I CRITIZED PART OF THEIR THINKING OR THEOLOGY. BUT U SIR, HAVE CALLED ME A TROLL OUT OF IGNORANCE, SHAME ON U

You believe you can continue to sin and not confess your sorrow to God for rebelling against God because you took a U-turn at one point in your life and now call yourself repentant. However, repentance is a continuing and ongoing process simply because we are fallen and we will continue to sin.

We are to focus on the gospel message, but we are also to confess our sins after we sin,, reprove, rebuke, correct, and when absolutely necessary cast out those that continue to rebel against God by their unrepentant sinfull conduct.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us of our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.......

If we need not repent of our sins then why is the Lord's prayer inclusive of that need?
Further, the Bible tells us in many ways to repent of our sins and always seek forgiveness of our trespasses, past and present on a regular basis.

So, please support your conclusion with scripture, because it appears contrary to scripture.
amen

7chron 7:14

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways
( repent);
then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

No I dont confess my sins, he already knows them, I already know them, and no I dont ask forgivness, he already has.

and who the heck are you to say Im not saved. You dont know me, I didnt say you arent saved, so just because I think theologically differerent than u, that means Im not saved. LAUGHABLE. I think God says Jesus will be the judge, **edited**
Your comment would seem to indicate you are unfamiliar with the following scripture: "IF we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

Also, the scripture goes on to make it clear that those who truly know Jesus keep his commandments. Those who do not keep his commands and say they know him are liars. We are instructed to walk as Jesus walked. This requires living a Godly lifestyle. Jesus also said that only those who do the will of the Father will enter into heaven.

"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
And hereby we do know that we know him, IF we keep his commandments.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." 1 John 2:1-6

"Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matt 7:20-21

I believe that the way many churches and Christians approach the issue of homosexuality is unbiblical.

Churches market themselves as offering unconditional love.
However, all too often they use a bait and switch tactic whereby they offer unconditional love to tempt people in and yet once 'captured', it is discovered that this love and acceptance is conditional on the newcomer changing in whichever way the church 'elders' dictate they should change.
If the church member doesn't change, they may find that they are not included in ways that they were before.

This is manipulation and spiritual abuse, and is absolutely not the kind of unconditional love offered by Jesus.

Before anybody says that homosexuality is forbidden by the Bible and that I'm "ignoring scripture"...
Prostitution is also forbidden in the Bible, and we all know how Jesus asked people not to throw stones and cast judgement.
Where does the Bible teach that God has 'unconditional love'. A friend of mine was a Bible College professor. He explained how a certain book in the 1960's mentioned 'unconditional love' and then we heard those terms from the pulpit.

Love does not mean to be accepting of sin. Those who affirm so-called 'gay' so-called 'marriage', for example, are being unloving. Love does not delight in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth according to I Corinthians 13. Loving people may require encouraging people to repent.

In I Corinthians 5, Paul gave instructions to a church that had a sexually immoral man in their midst. They were to deliver the man over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh and not eat with him or even keep company with him. He was to be delivered over to Satan so that his spirit might be saved. So there should be a loving motive toward the man who is expelled from fellowship, but also toward those his sin can contaminate like yeast as it influences others.

You see, Jesus uses love to define scripture, and yet humans use scripture to define love.
That is one of those sayings that sounds like it might be profound, but isn't really, IMO.

Jesus reached out to the marginalised, and yet we reach out to condemn.
Perhaps it's in our fallen nature to want to play God?
Jesus ate with tax collectors and sinners. But look at the results. The sinful woman's sins were forgiven. Zacchaeus repented and agreed to restore those he had defrauded and to give half his goods to the poor. But when it came to the issue of sin in His own church, His own assembly, he gave instructions for the one who would not repent after being rebuked by the offended brother, one or two others, then the whole church, be treated as a heathen man and a tax collector.

Lastly, the reason I'm sticking up for homosexuals and using them as an example here is not because I'm gay myself, just as the reason why I'm against racism is not because I am black.
Being Black, white, Asian, etc. is not akin to identifying oneself based on a sin one is tempted to participate in. It's not the same thing.

If you love someone, why would you want to see him go to Hell and to face destruction in this life.

Jesus' statement concerning those who continue living a lawless lifestyle:

Matt 7:22-23
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

INIQUITY
Unrighteousness, lawlessness. The Bible often uses this word to describe evil and wickedness. Iniquity can suggest different types of evil, such as transgressions of spiritual law and crimes against God (2 Peter 2:16; Rev 18:5), moral or legal wrongs (1 Cor 13:6) or depravity and sin in general (Gen 15:16; Ps 51:1,5,9).

Really? I think the member who suggested you are clinging to ink on a page was quite right.

I actually said I was not even attempting to quote scripture. And bit you're trying to suggest in trying to replace it because I coincidentally made a parallel.

Here's a line further on in that chapter for you to think about

Corinthians CH 13 v 13

13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Yes, that's right, the greatest thing out of faith, hope and love is love.

And the passage you're suggesting I am trying to replace is this

4 (E)Love is patient and (F)kind; love (G)does not envy or boast; it (H)is not arrogant 5 or rude. It (I)does not insist on its own way; it (J)is not irritable or resentful; 6 it (K)does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but (L)rejoices with the truth. 7 (M)Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, (N)endures all things.

Notice how is says love is not arrogant or rude?

Some of you might take note of that......
You're right. I should've chosen my words more carefully, or not said anything. I apologize.

Hebrews 3:12-14.

Spread the gospel message, which is the message of God's perfect righteousness. That message is not only about God's love and salvation for the repentant faithful, but also about condemnation for those that are disobedient to God's commands. If you love, as Jesus commanded, you will tell people they will be punished eternally for their unrepentant hearts. If you love as Jesus commanded you will tell them they must turn from the sin in their lives and trust in the Lord Jesus for salvation. If you fail to warn people that their sins are sending them to hell, you aren't loving them as Jesus commanded.

Jesus said if you look at someone with lust you have committed adultery with them in your heart; if you are angry at someone, you have murdered them in your heart; if you make an oath other than letting your yes be yes and your no be no, you have spoken from the devil; out of the mouth come blasphemous talk. If you believe it's okay to commit these sins after what Jesus said, then you will hear those words "I never knew you; go away you who practice lawlessness."

If you sin, you sin against God.

Jesus commanded you to be perfect as His Father in heaven is perfect, which requires you to be perfectly sinless. You are perfectly sinless when you confess and repent of your ongoing sins, at which time our faithful and just Lord will cleanse you of all unrighteousness. If you refuse to confess your ongoing sins, you have rejected Jesus's command to be perfect as the Father is perfect.

God's love is not unconditional.

First, you are to Love God back.

Matthew 22:36-40
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.

Second, you are to keep God's commandments

1 John 5:3
In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome,

Jesus reached out to the marginalised, and yet we reach out to condemn.
We are not to condemn. And I do not condemn although you say I condemn.
We are to share the gospel - the grace and love of God. But there needs to be repentance for sins. This is one of the conditions. We fail others if we leave out the need for repentance and we fail others when we pretend sin is not sin.

Luke 13:5
I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.”
