Staying at home for these few weeks could save your life. You can get saved wherever you are. Christians are too tied to a building. Whether you agree with Booth or not, he met people where they were in the streets and got them saved. Noit every sinner is going to come to your church.

Believing and repenting doesn't deliver you eternally? Pray tell, what does?
Booth does not get you saved eternally, neither does any other preacher or person. God saves us with the new birth by exchanging our hearts (Eze 11:19-20) and putting his Holy Spirit within us, as explained in Eph 2. God saves us eternally by his sovereign grace, without help from any man. According to 1 Cor 2:14 the natural man, before he has been born again, does not understand the things of the Spirit, and it says that he, indeed, can not understand, therefore, he will not repent of breaking a spiritual law that he cannot understand, he, also, cannot believe in spiritual things, nor accept spiritual things, until he has been born again. Once he has been born again with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, then he can repent of breaking a spiritual law, and confess Jesus as his Savior, and believe in Spiritual things. The natural man only has faith of man. The born again man has spiritual faith, because spiritual faith is a fruit of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

This is why Jesus instructed his Apostles to go and preach to the lost sheep (God's born again children of the house of Israel) They were not lost eternally, but were lost to the knowledge of the gospel. It does no good at all to preach to the natural man, who cannot understand the things of the Spirit. After you have been born again, then, and only then, can you have the ability to understand to believe, repent, confess, accept Jesus as your Savior, pray, or do anything that is of a spiritual nature.

Get them saved is a turn of phrase, led them to the Lord, better. Of course no person saves you.

Right, but a person can preach or testify leading someone to the Lord.

As noted in the quote, Robert Barnes is a constitutional attorney. So you are making a false accusation. And even if it is against Alex Jones, it is still false. He has been targeted by the Left-Liberals.
How can I be making a false allegation when all I said was "that guy is a 'propaganda prostitute' who was recently selling 'silver toothpaste' that he claimed would protect those who used it from contracting the coronavirus. "

04/09/2020: The Food and Drug Administration warned right-wing media personality Alex Jones to stop making false coronavirus claims about products touted and sold by his websites or face legal action and a possible order to pay back consumers.

The agency late today pointed to a range of misleading videos posted to Jones' website, InfoWars, that promote unproven silver products including toothpaste as possible coronavirus treatments.
https://www.politico.com/news/2020/04/09/fda-warns-alex-jones-over-false-coronavirus-claims-178629
I hope you realize that those types of 'programs' such as InfoWars and other right-winged talk radio/web sites are so bias that what little truth they do contain is distorted to the point it becomes a form of emotional coercion to induce fear in the listener by predicting these theoretically possible but not realistically probable hypothetical events.

Believe it or not, it is not a false accusation to make a statement about someone's conduct when the statement is true.

There is a deliverance (salvation) when a new born spiritual babe in Christ comes unto a knowledge of the truths in the gospel of Jesus. That is why Jesus instructed his Apostles to go and preach to those that were already born again and have the security of eternal heaven. If the Apostles had gone to the natural man to teach him the spiritual gospel, he would not have understood it and would have thought it to be foolishness, 1 Cor 2:14.

James 5:19-20, Brethren (kinsman by the new birth), if any of you (brethren) do err from the truth (fellowship with God), and one convert him (turn him around) ; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner (brother) from the error of his way shall save (deliver here in time, not eternally) a soul from death (death by Greek=a separation [from his fellowship with God} ), and shall hide a multitude of sins

All scripture must harmonize to understand the truths in the doctrine of Jesus Christ. There are many words in the English language that have many different meanings which effects the Greek interpretations of those words; such as, Save, death, life, Israel, etc. The natural man, before he has been born again, with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, cannot be converted to believe in the things of the Spirit. He does not have a new heart. 1 Cor 2:14.

So you're against preachers, evangelists, missions and anyone sharing the Gospel to the unsaved...

The unsaved cannot understand the things of the Spirit, and thinks it is foolishness, 1 Cor 2:14. The only way the unsaved (natural man) can get eternally saved (delivered) is by God's sovereign grace, without the help of mankind. Preaching can save (deliver) those that are born again babes in Christ, as they sojourn here in this world, but preachers cannot help the natural man to be saved (delivered) eternally.

I have given you an abundance of scriptures to prove my statements. Scripture proves scripture. You can not ignore any of the scriptures. They all must harmonize in order to understand the doctrine that Jesus taught. Do you consider all of the scriptures?

The only person that someone can lead to Jesus is the born again person that has turned to sin, and lost his fellowship with God.

Well, as you say, prove it. If you can't prove it then that is just your opinion that God does not limit the assembly of the congregation.

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 1 Cor 12:12

Understanding that many members form the body of the assembly, if one member is infected then under the law of the plague, the body is infected. All all the days that the plague is in the body, the body is unclean and he shall dwell alone, without the assembly shall he be.

So are you saying that God is not omnipresence? Can you reconcile the omnipresence of God if Jesus is only there when two are three gather in his name.
I am sorry that I failed to respond to your post. The body is made up of all of the elect of God, which is the bride of Christ, Him, being the husband thereof. Those that make a practice of assembling to honor, praise, and worship God in Spirit, and in truth, is the visible church, . Eze 1 explains it as 'their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel". verse 16. The outer wheel, as the invisible church, consisting of all of God's elect, that are still babes in Christ, who do not have full knowledge of the doctrine of Jesus, which is Christ's kingdom that comes not with observation, Luke 17:20. and the inner wheel as those elect who have found the truths of Jesus's doctrine, by the revelation of the Holy Spirit within them. This also harmonizes with Matt 7:13-14, which explains the wide gate and the straight gate.

I am not understanding your last statement about the law of the plague. Is that a quote from the scriptures, or is it from another source?

The law regarding the plague comes from Leviticus, the statement about body was referring unto the body of Christ and how that would apply to it.

You're being rude. Clear enough? There was nothing in that comment to disagree with, yet you marked it with an x. And no, it isn't false and has been said by the CDC, the doctors task force that has been coming out every day to speak and multiple scientific experts and doctors that have been reporting on this. Your expertise is?! Your proof that asymptomatic people cannot spread this virus? Who has told you this?! Are the CDC propagandists and unscientific?!

p.s. Reporting you, if I choose to is not a threat. I have only reported a couple people the entire time I've been here. But if you continue marking x on every post just to be disagreeable, you will be reported.
It is you who was rude. If you want to debate, be my guest. If you don't want people to disagree with you, especially when your points aren't justified or your facts are lacking, perhaps a decision to remain silent would be wiser? You also marked that you disagreed with a number of my comments, but I didn't threaten, nor did I complain like a child. An opinion is an opinion, and all people are sometimes wrong. Deal with it, or don't debate.

Reminds me of what Jesus had to say about a certain group of religious folks in the bible.

Mat 23:13 ¶ But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

For the cause of Christ

No, YOU were rude. The FACTS aren't lacking. You can have this virus and not know it. That's what the experts say. You're not disagreeing with my POV, you're disagreeing with them. If you're an expert in any of these areas, by all means let us know and we'll all listen to you!! Otherwise, you ought to remain silent, it would be wiser and a lot safer. smh Yes, we're here to debate, but when you haven't clue one what you're talking about and go against what experts are saying with tin foil hat conspiracy theories, you can bet you're going to be called on it!! Deal with it, or don't debate!!

I understand in refreshing my memory concerning Leviticus 13 that when a person has the plague of leprosy, that he is not permitted to assemble, but that wouldn't hinder those who are well to assemble. would it?

Here are the facts again. You can have this virus and not know you have it. That is why everyone is on lock down. You don't know if you are well, or if you can spread it to someone else. That's the whole issue.

There are ways that you can still gather together and stay in the guidelines suggested by the governments of our land, in distancing ourselves.

IF, that's a big word. Now there are churches that have had outdoor services and stay in their cars, there should be no issue there. One church did this in MS and the cops were sent out. That I would fight all day long. You're following the guidelines and that's all that's needed. But there was a church in KY that held a service inside and there was no social distancing, no guidelines were followed, and people from out of state attended. The cops came out and now they're all in lock down for 14 days. What did they expect? According the law? As I said, I'm not from here, I don't know how that will stand in a court. But as Christians it's a bad look. As I said, my mother goes for a major operation in a couple days. She has cancer. We are doing everything in our power to keep her safe. And when people spout of that aren't experts and have no facts, that angers me. My father is an essential worker and that puts her at a horrible risk. You are putting other peoples lives at risk with this if you ignore the experts and the guidelines, and you don't have that right.

So I read back to see who marked the x first, it was you. I don't care if anyone marks an x if they have reason to disagree. You didn't. Every comment I made, even one where there was nothing to disagree with you marked an x. That's where I have an issue. Red x because you have a beef with someone is childish. You have literally no facts. Not that that seems to have stopped you. smh

p.s. CC maybe we need to x the red x. Just a thought. It's being misused.
