Actually, they represent the entirety potentially per Romans 2 & 3.
Rubbish! God never promised Abraham that he would make him the father of each and every person in each and every nation! There is NO universal redemptive covenant in scripture.

Can you share a scripture wherein God obligates Himself?
Whatever you do, brother, don't hold your breath waiting for GWH to produce such a scripture. The best he'll be able to do is cite or quote some irrelevant passage and then read his inane presupposition into it -- just like they do with Jn 3:16.

Actually, they represent the entirety potentially per Romans 2 & 3.
Abraham and his seed

“Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭17:5‬ ‭

“and said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭22:16-18‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the point is

“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the gentiles through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.

……. that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

…… For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:7-9, 14, 16, 26-27, 29‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:12-13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭19:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

The first scripture regarding obligation in the OT vein is Genesis 12:2-3,
and the first one in the NT is Matthew 1:20-23.
You're so predictable! You did precisely what I just told Cameron you would do.

First of all Mat 1:20-23 does not teach potential or possible salvation. Verse 20 says that God will actually save his people. And "his people" isn't each and every person in the world! Matthew's primary audience in his gospel are Jews; therefore, the Jews would have understood "his people" to be referring to them! And, of course, by extension to ALL Abraham's spiritual descendants, of which the world is not!

Gen 12:2-3 does not teach that God will bless each and every person on the planet. The Heb term "mispachali" (Strong's 4940) means families, tribes or peoples. (See Rev 5:9-10 as a great companion passage!) In other words, all the nations of the world will be blessed (Gen 18:18; 22:18; 26:4; 28:14, etc.).

God obligated himself to save men from every tribe, tongue, nation and people whom he purchased with the blood of Jesus! There is no passage in scripture that teaches that God obligated himself to save each and every person in the world.

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

Here is a reminder of what understanding Gods election is.

1 Corinthians 8:1 Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth.

And..

1 Corinthians 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

So what is the better way than gifts ?

How does charity edify, and knowledge only puffs us up ?

1 Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Although we had understanding in all mysteries, and all knowledge, and had all faith, charity is the only thing that will stop us ending up as nothing.

Quick recap of what charity is.

Kindness, no envy, no vaunting and being puffed up against one another, ( an end to debate) to behave well, to not be selfish, think good not invent evil things, ( a good tree cannot bear evil fruit, neither can an evil tree bear good fruit) to not be happy in iniquity ( in sin/ the devil the man of sin) but to rejoice in truth, by bearing all things, believing all things, ( no need to engage endlessly in debate) to hope all things and endure all things.

1 Corinthians 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

The reason redemption is not universal is not God's fault

the Roman road (Rom. 1:20, 2:7, 3:21-22, 4:16 & 5:8-19).

The wicked are the tares that are in the field, and there is also wheat...

Isaiah 26:10 Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.

Matthew 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

@BillyBob , I started the above panel on Friday at work since it has been oh so very slow lately,
though I anticipate being fairly busy at work for a while in the near future, since the end of the
school year will be upon us soon. Last night when I should have been going to bed for sheer
exhaustion, instead I started this next panel thinking of you, and I know we have this in common,
for I became a servant of the gospel by the gift of God’s grace, given me through the working of
His power... not through my own desire or effort, just as the Scriptures say. I wonder if our nay-sayers
claim Paul was forced to believe also? Oh, and I wanted to tell you also that "Potato" was a name one
of the boys gave me when we were in primary school. LOL. He had more than one nick name for me.
Does that mean he liked me? Hmmmm. We may never know
,:unsure:;):giggle:

Ephesians 3 verse 7 ~ I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace, given me through the working of His power.
You new panel is beautiful as always. The message on each one is always welcoming, reminding us of God's word to His people. In addition to that, I am always amazed with the eyes. They seem to look right through you.
I also have been curious with the name “Magenta”, did that come from your work in photography? I know it is one of the main filter colors when doing color photography.

Yes, and after the sifting of souls on earth is complete,
the wicked who rejected God/Christ will be destroyed,
leaving only the spiritual children of Abraham alive,
and the recreation will be heavenly. :love:

Today at church, the sermon was from Isaiah 14:3-23. It was about PRIDE and how much God hates this sin. It sure made me look at myself, and I did not like what I saw. Hopefully it will cause me to interact better with those that I may not agree with.
I will not cease to provide my opinion on this site, but perhaps I can do it in a kinder manner!
