Yeah, which is what I said

So, what are you after?

There is much more than we realize to be known.
With God's blessing, and a genuinely good teacher, you can learn (daily) till the day you die.

Without?

It will probably be a Sunday service... and maybe Wednesday nights.
Or, even a Bible study in someone's home.

I'm not "after" anything from you other than asking you where sin originates. We've had a back and forth and it seems you think sin only originates in the meat called flesh. I disagree. Sin comes from out of the heart of man

You are a good driver?

Get that "meat" drunk, and you will not be able to drive the way you want to.
YES! That "meat" will affect what you think.

You do not understand the flesh.
You think its just a lump of matter, like a steak on a plate.
It sends wrong IMPULSES to your mind.
Your gut is sometimes called the second brain.
Why is the gut known as the second brain?

With more than 500 million neurons, it's the most complex neural network outside of your brain.
It's also unique in that it can operate somewhat independently from your brain and central nervous system.
This has led some scientists to refer to it as a “second brain” (online search)

Wrong bodily impulses can bully your volition.
Because? Its fallen.

Sinning can be an illegitimate means to satisfy a legitimate need.
In that case?
The act itself of sinning originates in your volition.

When you have a sin running for office in your heart?
Then you must vote. Yes, or no.
If it's yes?
Your mind will devise your own illegitimate means to satisfy that alleged need.
Or, righteousness will prevail, by standing on the Truth above it.

Does that explain it realistically?
Or, would you rather I simply give a retorical answer by citing some Scripture that you may not understand?

You understand electricity, but the ancients didn't. They perceived body, soul and spirit. Electrons are matter, but electricity isn't, Therefore, the flesh is body and soul. That's why the terms soulish and fleshly are used interchangeably in scripture.

'Originates' is the key word that I am dealing with.
You never asked, "how do we sin?"

Could you sin if your soul had no body?

What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Romans 7:24

We were born sinners because of Adam's sin.
How did sin enter the world?

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin,
and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned. Romans 5:12

Sin produces spiritual death! We were all dead in our transgressions!

A body without a soul is dead.
But, a soul without a body, remains being self-conscious, and unable to sin.

A soul without a body, remains being self-conscious, and unable to sin.

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those
who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.
They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long
before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

Revelation 6:9-10

Those souls without bodies were very much self-conscious!

Even the rich man who died after sent to torments could not sin....

A body is needed to desire to sin.

Here we go.
Your answer.

Where do chicks originate from?
Their eggs first needed to be incubated.

If a person who hatches eggs is using an incubator, the chicks will come out from the incubator.
But, where did the chicks originate?

Out from the heart of a man comes sin.
The heart of a man is where sin was incubated!

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil,
nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their
own lust and enticed. Then, after lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin,
when it is full-grown, gives birth to death." James 1:13-15

And? Where do those lusts come from?

Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war
against the soul." 1 Peter 2:11

The lust of the flesh?
Does what?

Wars against the SOUL!

The soul does not originate sin!
The soul will merely incubate that lust to conceive and bring forth the birth of sin!

It all originated in the flesh.
And, after being conceived and incubated?
Comes out from the soul!

Like ChristRoseFromTheDead@ said.

Sin comes from out of the heart of man.

But it did not originate in the heart!
It came out from the heart.

The heart was the incubator!
Sin originated in the unrighteous desire (lust) of the flesh!

Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war
against the soul." 1 Peter 2:11

There you have it..

Chicks originate from embryos that are created when a roo fertilizes a hen. Unlike humans an egg is a self-contained system with all necessary nourishment contained within itself that merely needs to be kept warm and turned to enable the embryo to develop into a chick. So chicks come out of shells, not hens or incubators, but originally it all starts in the innermost parts of a hen.

Likewise, sin originates from sin embryos that are created when the devil's seed in the form of fleshly enticements fertilizes longings in the innermost parts of the flesh and soul, where they are nourished and develop until they are birthed as sin through the actions and thoughts of the flesh

So I don't think your analogy is very good.

Inordinate competitiveness is a sin.
We need to learn to enter into His rest.

Zealously rightly dividing the word isn't sin. It helps us to divide between the longings of the soul and the longings of the spirit, so that we can walk a straight path

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all. Revelation 18:14

According to their deeds = their works.

Why will the unbeliever be condemned after his works are reviewed?
Because...... one single work will not be found.

This one, single work.

Then they said to Him, “What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?”
Jesus answered and said to them,
“Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” ” John 6:28-29

We know that we are not saved by works.
Works were a list of deeds to perform as a means to gain the approval of God.
Works was an invention of legalistic religion.

Only one work God accepts onto salvation.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ."
That is the one work will not be found for the unbeliever who will face condemnation.

grace and peace !
Out of curiosity, by quoting John 6:28-29, are you suggesting that true belief cannot originate from man himself, but is only given to someone through God's intervention and work?

Why should God intervene?
If so?
How does God intervene?

I don't understand your reply. You included those verses; what doctrine were you trying to communicate by doing so?
I am not a TULIP minded Christian.

Your inquiry was hinting at that you might be.

I wished to find out why you asked, to know how I should approach my answer.
God must do a work before anyone can get saved.
But, God's work is not to make us get saved.
If it were?
Romans 1:18-23 would reveal God has a flaw in doing so.

Are we on the same page?

I don't know if we're on same page or not, because I still do understand your reply.
I don't understand what you mean by the "how I should approach my reply"? If you would, I
would appreciate a simple answer as to what you believe the meaning of those verses are - verses that you referenced.
IOW -do you believe the obtaining of a true faith, can/must only come from it being given to someone from/by God's work, as the verses that you referenced clearly state - is that the "work" you are referring to? And if so, are you then also saying you believe the possibility would still exist that, even after receiving faith from God, those who are given it might still never become saved, even with that faith?
Sorry, I'm lost regarding your reply.

Actually, you just reiterated your false doctrine agenda here.

Readers know there is no verse in the Christian Bible that teaches Satan and his angels can repent and be saved. None. No, not one.

Anyone who says there are is lying.

That is the truth.
And there's a great reason behind what you just stated. The angels have empirical evidence for God's existence whereas humans do not, which is precisely why faith is the mode of man's salvation. The one exception to what I just said is Adam. Adam talked and communed with God in the Garden before he sinned. And this is another big reason for why God did not save him after he fell.
