Vengeance for man- What?

I have a christian friend that made the comment that "Because someone had wronged her, that God struck that person with cancer as vengeance for her." She believes God will punish, even kill, those that do her harm. I don't agree with this thinking. I don't believe nor have I found scripture that supports God being mans executioner. Am I way off here? I've asked her where in the Bible she found this scripture and she says it's there, but won't specify. I'm very concerned for her, not for being right. Please talk with me.

its not there if she worships a god that does her will then that "god" is not the GOD of the Bible but a false god or demonic power claiming the title.

Please give him the wisdom and words to reach this lost soul and bind any forces of darkness in their life that would war against knowledge of You Lord. Jesus we humbly come before you and entreat Your intervention. Lord lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for Thine is the power and the kingdom forever and ever. Many Christians are like your friend. She hasn't learned the love of God. The bible says to pray for our enemies. Your friend is held captive by Satan because of her hate and unforgiveness. What your friend is doing is called witchcraft. She is not reborn into Christ Jesus.

Thank you for sharing your understanding of the Word of God. Please pray for my friend, they are truely serving a false God. They have studied the word and use verses to justify their thinking and actions. I try to show them the harm of believing that God serves thier will. Every discussion they justify what they want to Word to say so it serves thier needs. ie: Ezikel 25:17 " I will carry out great vengeance on them and punish them in my wrath. unless they think they are "the Lord" then those verses does not apply to THEIR vegeance but GOD's.

be careful, pray and trust in God. Keep the faith and allow Jesus to be your shield and comfort.
