"So to us before knowing the nature of God we cant comprehend how the red sea parted or how its logical for it to had happened"

He said it...

exodus 14:5-6 "
And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: 16But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea."

moses obeyed Him

v21-22 "
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. 22And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left."

everything that God does, He says it first. when we can come to the Knowledge of the 3rd verse in the Bible, there is Faith. He has, is, and always will honor His word.

Yes but that can only come from belief. Without faith we try to scientifically, historically, archeological, logical find ways to prove how that happens or how miracles happen.

We see it as non logical until faith.

This is why its so hard to defend faith when faith is exactly what it means. Unbelievers who question why on everything like why does God allow this and that. But we always get to one point where we can describe the will of God in our best theological opinions but ultimately it falls on faith. In which many cant surrender to such unknowing. They stick with God allows children get cancer. To them its not logical to call God good.

But we believers know of Gods logic and understanding is far past ours. We know its a fallen world, filled with sin, death and disease. But God didnt leave us that way. But planned a way. We except that in faith.

and its the simplest thing you know what i mean? its been ever since the deception God said one thing, satan said the opposite...Gods Word came to pass as it always has from genesis to the flood, to abraham, to the law, to the prophets, to Jesus, all the way through. if we could stop thinking, and believe Gods Word. there is faith, complete and infallible.

i truly think, its a lack of people hearing the truth and instead so many strange ideas of How to get around simply believing Gods Word that was Given in Jesus. if we could simply get past the walls and scars and doubts in our minds, God would part the red sea in our lives.

part of the issue there is no one accepts what faith is, because everyone has thier own opinion of what God has said, instead of accepting the Word of Jesus, who shed His blood to show His Love, and spoke the truth of God for anyone who believes that they may receive by Faith in Him.

too many ideas that to have faith in Jesus, means his words arent applicable, yet, who has faith in someone and then doesnt trust thier word ? too many see the condition, and not the promise, or the promise and then omit what He said to do to receive. its almost like mass confusion.

We have all the revelation and instruction that we need in the scriptures, however the scriptures tell us that God at times interacts with believers in supernatural ways, it is all over the place in the bible from cover to cover. So to take the position that I do not believe God will ever interact with a believer because we have the bible, is actually a contradiction because the bible is what tells us that God at times does interact with those who believe in Him. On the other hand, I realize why people tend to be skeptical, there are a lot of phony stories out there about supernatural experiences with God. When I was younger I had supernatural experiences with God a few times, so I thought it was normal. I am not making this up folks, when I was 5 years old I was gazing into this most beautiful sunset when I became aware of the figure of a person standing in it, somehow I knew it was God. I realized I had a choice to move toward or away from the person and I chose to move toward, when that happened it seemed like a connection was made and I heard myself ask the person, why am I here, the person answered, you do not know now but you will know later. Then when I was around 9 I saw these angels but at the time I did not know what an angel was(they were very beautiful and full of love). When I was ten a person stopped me one time and was telling me all about my life and that he was there to help me, and I had never seen the person before(I think it was an angel). Anyway, I have had experiences with God.

We hear how some have near death experiences, death and came back, or prophets visions.

Many speak of Heaven and speak of out of body experiences. And even some speak if hell. Some come back claiming to have a message from God while others either didn't want to return to earth once seeing heaven and others are thankful to be back to not have to go to hell.

We have books, documentaries, movies, and eye witnesses.

I do not disbelieve that God can do all this. But how can any of this be trusted? Are we to take it face value and take the biblical truths from it and just kinda keep it in the mind vault of possibly true but not sure? Some of these people only felt a very bright warm and loving light drawing them and they wanted to reach this light with great excitement but then pulled back to earth brought back to life they woke up sad to be alive. While others actually sees heaven or hell and returns to earth telling of what they saw with biblical truths but also things that cant be proven like the things that go on in heaven or hell.

These people claim to be true and some even claim yo bring a message. How in the world can we know if any of its true.

I lean more towards just believing the bible period. But prophets who sees visions is biblical so I dont know.
Ok You got me again...What are DEs and NDEs? I think I see....from the context of some of the posts...Near Death Experiences and Death Experiences?

Very true this is why I do not disregard it but essentially like your supernatural experience God is biblical true, God does give a choice to move closer to him or walk further away, Angels are biblical true, and we do know Angels do a lot of behind the scenes spiritual warfare and protection. All of this is found in the bible without me ever having to have proof of others visions.

But its the visions that bring stuff from biblical truths like for example a person experiences heaven and they see a man on a laptop. Lol okay well i know people will be in heaven but laptops? The bible dont say. So i cant take it as truth but cant fully deny it because the bible dont say and im not dead yet.

Peter (Ac 2:17–21) cited Joel (Joe 2:28) regarding the pouring out of the spirit. It started then and continues today. Many have had dreams/visions regarding the destruction of America (e.g. nuclear attack New York, etc [Eze 39:6]). The church should be outta here before the Gog Magog battle, FYI.

Just something to ponder here, but why would God send people to a place they are never ever going to go to?
Heaven is not the final destination right? The Bible states very clearly that our final destination is the New Jerusalem on the new earth. When people say they died and went to heaven and describe it are they describing heaven or the new Jerusalem?

Revelation 21
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. [SUP]2 [/SUP]And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband. [SUP]3 [/SUP]And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, [SUP]4 [/SUP]and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.” [SUP]5 [/SUP]And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” [SUP]6 [/SUP]Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life without cost. [SUP]7 [/SUP]He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son. [SUP]8 [/SUP]But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, “Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
[h=3]The New Jerusalem[/h][SUP]10 [/SUP]And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, [SUP]11 [/SUP]having the glory of God. Her brilliance was like a very costly stone, as a stone of crystal-clear jasper. [SUP]12 [/SUP]It had a great and high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels; and names were written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel. [SUP]13 [/SUP]There were three gates on the east and three gates on the north and three gates on the south and three gates on the west. [SUP]14 [/SUP]And the wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]The one who spoke with me had a gold measuring rod to measure the city, and its gates and its wall. [SUP]16 [/SUP]The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the rod, fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal. [SUP]17 [/SUP]And he measured its wall, seventy-two yards, according to human measurements, which are also angelic measurements. [SUP]18 [/SUP]The material of the wall was jasper; and the city was pure gold, like clear glass. [SUP]19 [/SUP]The foundation stones of the city wall were adorned with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation stone was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; [SUP]20 [/SUP]the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. [SUP]21 [/SUP]And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
[SUP]22 [/SUP]I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. [SUP]23 [/SUP]And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb. [SUP]24 [/SUP]The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it. [SUP]25 [/SUP]In the daytime (for there will be no night there) its gates will never be closed; [SUP]26 [/SUP]and they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it; [SUP]27 [/SUP]and nothing unclean, and no one who practices abomination and lying, shall ever come into it, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

You have a good point Megiddo.

Personally, a Spiritual body sounds great to me. I don't want another human type situation. :)

Whatever though...am sure we will enjoy it immensely...

I would not believe in God if I had not personally experienced Him and
His love for me... taking other people's word for it was not my cup of tea,
and since it is a personal relationship that God desires with us, and His
revealed written Word promises He will reveal Himself to those who seek...

There is not really a spiritual body is there?

If we want to know what our bodies will be like when they put on imperishable we have 2 examples in the Bible to see.

Adam & Eve before they fell and Jesus Christ before he ascended.

Luke 24.36-43

[SUP]36 [/SUP]While they were telling these things, He Himself stood in their midst and *said to them, “Peace be to you.” [SUP]37 [/SUP]But they were startled and frightened and thought that they were seeing a spirit. [SUP]38 [/SUP]And He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? [SUP]39 [/SUP]See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.” [SUP]40 [/SUP]And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. [SUP]41 [/SUP]While they still could not believe it because of their joy and amazement, He said to them, “Have you anything here to eat?” [SUP]42 [/SUP]They gave Him a piece of a broiled fish; [SUP]43 [/SUP]and He took it and ate it before them.

Revelation 20:14-15New International Version (NIV)

14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. 15 Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Second death is final death. In Gods new heaven and earth, death and hell will be no more.

Only implying people are going to experience hell after death or the current heaven.
