REFLECTION
Song on YouTube - The Story I'll Tell by Naomi Raine

Spend some time today reading about the life of Jesus which is spread across the 4 Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John). By looking at the life of our Saviour, it helps us to remember that we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses (Philippians 4:15).

PRAYER

Jesus, today, we need You. All of the strength, the power, the confidence, the hope that You had while You walked this earth, today we need it to carry on. Your word says that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness so perfect us today, Lord. We want to honour You, we want to glorify You with our lives so please help us.

In Your name, I pray. Amen.

PEACE

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose." - Romans 8:28

Peace is not the absence of trials or storms in our lives but the assurance that God is Victor, King, All-Seeing, All-Knowing, All-Loving and with us through every storm.

In Matthew 8, the disciples (who were physically with the Messiah) got scared. After seeing Jesus heal the sick and open the eyes of the blind, they faced a new trial - a storm while in open water. This shows that, while on this earth, we can be in the closest proximity to Jesus yet still experience the emotions of anxiety, fear and worry. But because Jesus arose from the grave we no longer have to remain bound to these emotions.

Romans 8:11 says, "But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you". Because of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, we are now able to access His eternal peace (John 12:27). Do you truly believe that? Romans 8:6 tells us that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways. Therefore it is doubt, not in our circumstances but in God, that erodes peace.

So when our peace is fleeting, how do we regain it?

Yes, we can absolutely pray and ask for restoration of our peace and repent of our doubt. Yet, we can pray for peace to be restored through the body of Christ. The Greek word for peace, eírō, also means unity. Remember, the body of Christ is the representation of the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Spirit) on the earth. God never lacks anything because God is always united - each member of the Godhead receives everything they need from each other. This means the presence of doubt could be a sign that you need more of the body of Christ; whether that be through worship or simply an encouraging word (Ephesians 6:15).

PRAYER
Thank You Heavenly Father for giving me eternal peace. Whenever I am in need, may I quickly come to You to pray for full restoration.

Father, I pray that I would desire to not only be a receiver of Your peace through the body of Christ but I would be willing and available to be sent to others in order to restore their peace as well.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

REFLECTION
Reflect on all the ways that God has used the body of Christ to restore your peace.

JOY

"These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made complete." - John 15:11

The Greek word, chará, means calm delight. This signifies that happiness is an emotion while joy is a state of mind.

John 16:22 tells us that no man can take our joy. It is a gift from God, just like salvation. You won't let anyone take your salvation from you, right? So why your joy? This is why Proverbs 4:23 says, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it".

Through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the body of Christ works with each member to maintain and increase joy (2 Corinthians 1:24) so that all of our joy might be made full. In Scripture we see that wherever joy is received, action follows to increase the joy of others.

REFLECTION
Having received joy, brainstorm with the Holy Spirit some practical ways that your joy should overflow onto others.

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your gift of joy.

If I am lacking any joy in my life today, God, I pray that through Your Holy Spirit, You will use the body of Christ to increase my joy until it is full. Afterwards, Lord, I pray that You will teach me how to guard my heart so that my joy might be maintained and poured onto others eternally.

In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

LONGSUFFERING

Song on YouTube - Costly by Naomi Raine

According to 2 Peter 3:15, the only purpose of longsuffering is salvation. Our suffering is never in vain but always our cost for following Christ so that, one day, others may too inherit everlasting life.

There was a time in my life when I became apathetic and quite bratty (when I truly think about it). In my suffering, I took my eyes off of Jesus and put it on myself; my cost, my pain, my discomfort. How selfish was I! As Naomi Raine rightly sings, "How could I give too much?" When we consider what Jesus did for us so that we may not spend eternity in hell, what is our temporary suffering in this world in comparison?

"Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." - Philippians 2:5-11

Let it be costly.

PRAYER

O Heavenly Father, today I empty myself before Your throne. Firstly asking for repentance for considering myself too much when You gave the ultimate sacrifice. You gave Your one and only Son, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Creator of the Universe, so that I might spend eternity with You. Thank You God.

From this day onward, God, may You help me to remember the price that You paid. Whenever I am tempted to murmur or complain, God help me to remember because NOT ONCE did Jesus murmur or complain. Father, in the garden HE SWEAT BLOOD for me! For me, Lord. Then He laid His life down upon that cross and saw my life. Holy Spirit, help us to see the lives that we are labouring with You to receive. Help us to see the faces. Help us to see the tears. Give us the empathy, God, to deny ourselves daily, pick up our cross and follow Jesus; understanding that whatever the cost, it is worth it. You gave us life Lord. Help us to surrender it daily to you.

In Your name, I pray. Amen.

APPOINTED

"Now the word of the Lord came to me saying, “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Then I said, “Alas, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, because I am a youth.” But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ because everywhere I send you, you shall go, and all that I command you, you shall speak. “ Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you,” declares the Lord. Then the Lord stretched out His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me, “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. “See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant”." - Jeremiah 1:4-10

You are appointed by the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Your Creator, Maker, Father and Friend. As you continue your journey, I pray that you would be so sure of your appointment. That you would be steadfast and unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). I pray that like Moses in Exodus 4, you would not look upon your human limitations but only look upon God's Sovereignty, and know you were chosen for a time such as this (Esther 4:14).

MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION

“And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;” - 2 Corinthians 5:18

Since the foundations of the world, God had an ultimate plan for reconciliation. This plan did not only come into being at the fall of man; for our all-knowing and all-loving God knew that sin was inevitable. Through Jesus, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, God has given us the ability to spend eternity with Him. However, this eternity is only full of love and all things good because God's righteous judgement takes place - separating creation from those who choose their will vs those who truly believe that God's will is best and submit to it.

From the moment we are saved, we become joint labourers with God, helping Him to reconcile the world unto Himself. Therefore, every gift and calling given by Jesus is a tool to assist in our harvest work (Luke 10:2).

Important Notes:
- God's calling and gifts are not limited to a church setting but are functional in every facet of our lives.

- We all have one divine appointment (1 Corinthians 12:17-20), which is our primary function, but God may call us to function in various capacities. For example, someone may be divinely appointed by God to be a Teacher yet God may call that person to function in church under the title of a Pastor. This is by God's beautiful design. In this example, the congregation will not reach its full capacity until the divinely appointed Teacher submits to a divinely appointed Pastor. If the Teacher refuses to submit to another member of the body of Christ to receive guidance on Pastoral care, the church congregation may then be full of knowledge and sound teaching but the members will be lacking in care (1 Corinthians 12:21-27).

- The gifts and calling of God are given without repentance (Romans 11:29). As you walk in your calling, it is important that you continually abide in God (John 15:1-6). Unfortunately, we have many examples of people within the church who did not remain in God while functioning in their gifts and calling. The results are disastrous: members of the body are hurt spiritually, emotionally and sometimes physically, the church is given a bad name and ultimately (without returning to God) that person will experience the wrath of God (1 Corinthians 13:1-3).

WELCOME

Thank You For Being Here!

Because of your commitment to walk in your calling, lives will be transformed. So, on behalf of the people of the world, who are currently waiting on you, thank you.

I won’t spend much time in this preamble because there’s much for you to unpack but here’s a little about me…

For the past 6 years, I have been walking in full surrender to God. When I wanted to go to university at the age of 18, He directed me to start a company. Six years later, I was directed to leave that company to serve you. The past six years of my life have been tumultuous, to say the least, but all absolutely necessary. During that time, I was stripped of pride, insecurity and people-pleasing, and clothed in the fruit of the Spirit. By the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, my current assignment is now to help you - not live an easy life - but a purpose-filled one.

Let’s get started.
there is much to go through first to be ready to stand in one's call from God to us all by risen Son where for me the new life began and am still learning new in process, thanks. It is kind of like going through the desert for forty years first. To learn new and be new in truth given you from God by Son for us each. Which from your post here, I see you are and have gone through adversities too, now see and know more in humility to God's lead through you too, thank you

Thank you so much for sharing! Your post reminds me perfectly of the process of sanctification in John 15:1-2:
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit." (KJV)

Walking in God's calling for your life is a continuous process for sure. And you're absolutely right, I definitely experience my fair share of suffering and it reminds me of what Paul said in 2 Corinthians 1:3-6:
"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation." (KJV)

It is absolutely never in vain :)

WALK IN YOUR APPOINTMENT

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;" - Ephesians 4:11

Use this tool to help you discover your divine appointment.

Let's pray.

Heavenly Father, I pray that as I go through this guided exercise You will direct me to my divine appointment. I believe that You are Sovereign and totally in control. Your Word says that if I acknowledge You in all my ways You will direct my paths. So I thank You God for directing my path and giving me revelation today about my divine appointment. I pray that if there is any doubt about Your divine appointment in my life, You will confirm it to me in other clear and concise ways so that I may walk fully in my calling.

In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Before responding to the upcoming question, ask God, “What is my divine appointment?”

Guided by the Holy Spirit, select one of the options below:
Apostle
Prophet

APOSTLES

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;" - Ephesians 4:11

Apostle - A sent one
An Apostle is a person sent out from the body of Christ to carry on God's mandate. Sometimes, they might not be visibly stationed in a local congregation but should always be grounded in Godly community.

The greatest examples that we have of Apostles are the disciples and the early church. After being taught by Jesus during His earthly ministry, the eleven are instructed to "go and make disciples of all nations", in Matthew 28:19. But they are not guided by muscle memory. In fact, Jesus said, "you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8)." It was the power of the Holy Spirit that guided the disciples, gave them miraculous powers (Acts 2:43) and enabled them to establish the early church.

Apostles are encouraged to carefully examine the life of Jesus and his teachings to the twelve disciples. In it, you will find that a constant prayer of the disciples was "Lord, increase our faith (Luke 17:5)" as they grew to understand the assignment on their lives. Another great example of this is Paul the Apostle, who early professed his willingness to be bound and die, if needed, for the name of the Lord Jesus.

REFLECTION

Apostles, spend some time in prayer asking the Holy Spirit what you need to walk fully in your calling. Then, consider what it will require of you.

Do you need to conduct a Bible study on the life of Jesus and the Apostles?

Do you need to learn how to build yourself up in the Spirit?

Do you need Godly community?

How is your Apostleship applied in everyday life?

God knows exactly what you need at this moment. You can be sure that when you ask, it will be given to you (John 14:13-14).

Ask in belief, not in doubt. If doubt is in me, you or others too, then it can take a while to come to fruition as they wandered in the desert for forty years first. why? It states because of their unbelief.
Therefore, one believes that Jesus died for them, yet do these believe he, in that one time willing death took away all sin or not in his Father's sight, not the world's?
Then one might say "I" believe he did that, took away all sin for me. Then go to Church for repentance, to get what? Forgiven again? To be reviewed as good enough by others for confirmation from them? Whatever the motive in each person is: God knows and is working on that with each of us to see and stand in belief, he did take away sin at that cross once for everyone to believe and receive and be new in trust to Father of the risen Son for them. It is not "I" anymore, it is God that lives for me in my stead for me, can one say that in thankfulness and be humble in it? Not easy with the first born flesh not yet redeemed is it?
Trusting you Father to reveal whatever be needed for me to see and become humble in it, thank you

Love all, yes even those that do not love you back, see to not condemn anyone again, since God by Son has chosen not to condemn you, me and everyone else from the cross. Amazing Grace written by John Newton, the slave trader that saw and repented from doing the wrongs he was doing. Seeing he did not deserve salvation at all. I see this to this day, neither do "I". I see the "I" of me that gets in the way of me to be saved from God's Mercy given me through Son's done work not only for me, yet for everyone, it is done
John 19:30. That part got finished on that cross for us all to no in the resurrected life of the Son we cross over free of charge once one stands in belief, no matter what good or bad happens tot hem from that point forward, even whenever feel like quitting, one does not in trust to the King, thanks for the posts brother

PROPHETS

"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;" - Ephesians 4:11

A Prophet is sent by God to guide people along the straight and narrow way.

While Prophets are gifted for the exposition of divine truths, it is important to note that any Believer can receive the gift of prophecy. This is explained in Acts 2:14-18:

"But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:"

Under the Old Covenant, God appointed specific Prophets in Israel as His spokespersons. They often received an interpretation of visions and dreams from the Lord and could hear from God directly to relay that message to others. However, even then Prophets could speak presumptuously (Deuteronomy 18:22) and deliver messages that God really didn't say. Therefore, it is important for modern-day Prophets to apply lessons from Biblical history to ensure they are most effective.

Lessons for Modern-Day Prophets
God will choose to speak or not speak when a Prophet asks for a sign or confirmation (1 Samuel 28:6).

"Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time (1 Peter 5:6)".

Prophets are not the only Believers who hear from God (2 Peter 1:19-21).

Always be reminded of God's Sovereignty; believing that God will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Prophets must test every spirit to see if it is from God (1 John 4:1, Jeremiah 14:14, Jeremiah 23)

Prophets should be grounded in the Sovereignty and Goodness of God so that they are not swayed negatively by any prophecy received from the Holy Spirit. Prophets must always understand that God's will and way are good, pleasing and perfect and seek to encourage Believers even when giving a difficult word (Acts 21:10-13).

Prophets can help to refresh Pastors and other Believers (Exodus 2:16-17, 19).

God is not the author of confusion, we are (1 Corinthians 14).

A Lesson from the Church at Corinth
Directed by the Holy Spirit, Paul wrote 1 Corinthians 14:34-40. It contains an often controversial passage about women being silent in the church. However, it is important for us to understand the Biblical context. Some women at Corinth were fully convinced that they were appointed by God to be Prophets and were speaking as "thus saith the Lord" to their congregation; but in their delivery they brought much confusion to the body of Christ. Therefore, Paul declared, "let your women keep silence in the churches".

Paul, here, is teaching an important lesson on biblical submission and the testing of prophecy in private before it is relayed publicly. In this case, a woman submits a prophetic word to her husband for reasoning and approval. If the word is confirmed, then it is to be relayed in a decent and respectable way, by him, to the church. This ensures that the confirmed message is relayed in a peaceable, clear and concise way. It also promotes a great deal of humility to have a prophectic word relayed by someone else; ensuring that nothing is added.

Is it 100% grace or is it mixed with Law. when by God Law is fulfilled in Son for us, to be new in love to all as God was and did by Son on that cross for us?

God is not the author of confusion, we are (1 Corinthians 14).
That be why God works on one thing at a time through us his children in belief to see truth and willingly leave behind ignorance of things not good for us to do anymore as had done prior.
Look at Job, Job saw to work on one thing at a time. Noting this Job was in the midst of taking care of a problem as others came into unto him and said other things were going on then too. Job finished what Job was doing first, then onto the next thing one thing at a time, when one anyone lets in the problems all at once in their mindset, confusion then enters and troubles begin even more so.
I remember a person who stopped me in the midst of my problems that I was expressing at the time, I got to about the sixth one and that person ( a pastor) stopped me and said to me this:
It seems you have many a problems, and from where I sit and see tell me, tell you what is the most prevalent one to handle first.
I saw my most prevalent problem and decided to go and fix that. Once done with fixing that one, whether or not it turned out however I wanted it to or not, it would be finished, then onto the next one. There is no confusion in working on one problem at a time. That be what God does, as Son did as if God and is God yet not the most high God yet is. He yelled in John 19:30 it is finished.
What is finished y'all?
How many sins did Son take away at that cross for you? Before you were ever born here today on earth. is it done for you too or not?
If it is, then one can live free right?
therefore why do we not do that? Live free in love from God to us? Is it because evil is focused on misusing this grace of God given us?

Regardless, Son in God and God in Son took away all sin in his sight, but one, that is not a sin it is first born in belief or unbelief to see to choose to believe or not to God personally as David saw to believe to God personally once Nathan let David know the truth David repented to God personally, then was new as is for us all to do willingly or not also. Just the view I see from God to me and all others too
Thank you
