Do you believe we should go to war with Iran to save Israel? Is it like Esther? I believe if we do not help enlargement and deliverance for the Jews will come from somewhere else. This is the USA's chance to be the army of the Lord.

just pointing out that if war is seen as the solutions there are more countries than Iran that would have to be attacked....

I dont think war solves anything, and I don't think anyone has the right to take anyones life.... (and dont talk about the OT, that was God giving clear orders, not polticians making money and power)

but I guess everyone is going to disagree with me on that, so I will go back to my den and hide now :p

Out of curiosity, if you lined up all the Iranians in the world and could shoot any of them you please - let's say you have infinite ammo - which ones die?

oh, and I should add, just in case that is not obious from my picture: the acts of a few does not make out the acts of the whole country.

War is justified by the saving of innocent people. I do not even agree with the USA using nuclear weapons on Japan. Iran wants to destroy Israel and I believe they would use nukes. Who can judge me for wanting to save thousands of women and children?

To begin with, those men that you're going to kill. We still don't know who those are. Do you have a list?

When the Sgt. gives me my line of fire that will be who is on the list. I do not think you will find a list of who is in the Iranian army anywhere. No thanks for the cheap shot you took at me. Maybe you should look up the population of Israel's cities and make a list of which ones you want Iran to nuke.

Why do you feel it is our duty to protect Israel? God's people today are Christians. Were not called to physical battle, but spiritual Eph 6 against the wickedness of the world, as we fight against that.

You cannot trust the Media, I have no idea why so many feel it is our duty to interfere with Israel, the Bible does not teach this.

"Jews" today are not a race, but those who have been circumcised of the heart without hands. Cast away the flesh, the carnal mind. This is our battle. Rom 2:29

The condition of our country right now is not good. We don't need to be at war with anyone unless abousulty involves us and our saftey. We need to fix things here and quit spending.

First of all Johnathan, the land belongs to YHVH. Secondly, they don't stand a chance. Thirdly, the Iranians have failed before they even got started.

You like prophecy? Chew on what I said for awhile and study the Prophets.

Unfortunately, war with Iran seems to be eminent because the radical Shiite leaders in Iran believe that by starting a world war in the Middle East it will fulfill certain Muslim prophecies concerning the return of the 12th Immam, also known as the Muslim Mahdi (messiah). If fact, the current president of Iran believes that he is the predecessor to the coming Mahdi.

Iran could care less who they fight at this point which is why they must never be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.

It's not an unfair question or cheap shot. You seem to believe killing people will save Israel. I'm just wondering if you had anyone specific in mind. You've already abdicated responsibility, though.

Maybe you should look up the population of Israel's cities and make a list of which ones you want Iran to nuke.
This is really the best you've got? Since it wasn't clear, I'm the one against war.

If you would not die to stop Israel from being nuked then put away your star of David and any claim to loving the Jews and stop being a hypocrite. You do not love them. Stop pretending to be an American who cares that we helped the Jews in WW2; you would just overlook the Holocaust and do nothing. Don't preach that Israel is important to prophecy because you obviously do not think God cares. Just sit back while others are murdered by the hundreds of thousands and do nothing because your view of Jesus is luke warm.

God has an army who are preaching the gospel. It is always dangerous to mix church and state, look at the dark ages and what the Papacy did.

not really sure who this was directed at, or if everyone does not want to go to war for the sake of Israel. However, I have no star of David to put away, I don't claim that star as anything but what is on the flag of Israel.
In fact the Bible never mentions a star of David. Isreal was represented by the Menorah, which reflects the number 7, not a hexagon the number 6 which is the number of man and the beast. The only time a star is mentioned in connection to Israel is where it is called the star of Moloch.
Amos 5:26: But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images , the star of your god , which ye made to yourselves.

Acts 7:42: Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven; as it is written in the book of the prophets, O ye house of Israel, have ye offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of forty years in the wilderness?
Acts 7:43: Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

If anyone does not want to go to war for Israel it does not make them a hypocrite, nor have a "luke warm view of Christ".
Christ does not command His followers to go to war for a certian race of people:
John 18:36: Jesus answered , My kingdom is not of this world : if my kingdom were of this world , then would my servants fight , that I should not be delivered to the Jews : but now is my kingdom not from hence .
And if one does not think prophecy revolves around Israel, why would that mean we think God does not care? Your saying some pretty harsh things, and have you ever thought maybe your understanding of prophecy and Israel may be wrong?
Physical Israel was God's chosen people that typified spiritual Israel, God's chosen people today, as Peter rightly describes Christians. Both Jews and Gentiles. I Pet 2:9

why start a thread and ask people what they think, and then if its not what you think accuse them of these things?

It is hypocricy to say we should do nothing to save the Jews from being nuked and say we love them at the same time. Does it have to be Christians before you care? Would you want someone to fight in war to save the USA from being nuked or your city even? Do unto others as you would that they do to you. If the Israelis could save you from a nuke and answer your prayers would you not agree that war was justified? So what is the problem with the USA saving the Jews? It would be just as justified as them saving your city.

Wake up, and see there is no good in this world.

Yahvah God gave the land to his chosen people, he delivered their enemies into their hands...

Did that mean they loved and obeyed him? No they went whoring after the gods of other people.

If Almighty Yahvah God wanted to wipe Iran off the face of the earth he could... We all know that.

All things must come to pass for the harvest.

We will all witness what happens when man disobeys Yahvah God.

We will all witness what happens when man attempts to be god............

We will all witness how an evil agenda is manipulating and deceiving the world.

Israel is being used by this evil agenda.........

Man made peace is not on offer:

<< 1 Thessalonians 5 >>
King James Version
1But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

you forgot about this verse...

numbers 24:17..."I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. He will crush the foreheads of Moab, the skulls of all the sons of Sheth."
