LOL What are you displaying? My other comment? It's called sarcasm but clearly, it's difficult to discern online from people who lack wisdom.
I can explain it to you but I can’t understand it for you

I generally agree with the seductive and clandestine bit. As far as Samson, wasn't he already married when he met Delilah?

Proverbs 7:
5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.
6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,
7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding,
8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,
9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:
10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.
11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:

12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)
13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him,
14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.
15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt.
17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.
19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey:
20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.
21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.
22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks;
23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.
24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.
25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.
27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death

Proverbs 2
11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee: .............
........
16 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
17 Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.
18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
19 None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
20 That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

Just to share a few, albeit, these might be referring to something else rather than a woman?
Proverbs is NOT a list of rules to obey. It is more like suggestions. So, if it gives a warning about a prostitute that will try and seduce you, it's a pretty strong warning.

Men are more inclined to pornography and illicit affairs, even if they are married. Women are not, because of who the offspring's father was. Plus, women don't generally run around seducing men, unless they are in a situation where that is the only way for them to make money.

I know there are men who would not go out with prostitutes. But many who would! I've never met a woman who went out with a gigalo and actually paid for a man to sleep with her. That just doesn't happen!

Therefore, men need to be warned against lust and baser instincts, but women are rarely inclined that way. I'm not saying women are perfect, but for most of us, women have other weak areas of sin!

Yet again, and again proven right
Sarcasm is the secret language that everyone uses when they want to say something mean to your face

also known as the cop out and how to ungracefully exit a conversation above your comprehension

I have more respect for prostitutes and Proverbs is not warning against prostitutes.

that took awhile

were you reading your diary?

listen...I didn't call you names or report you for rudeness or insist you are wrong

you voiced an opinion and I responded

nothing has changed in my opinion of what you wrote

however, I now have an opinion with regards to your seeming inability to be able to accept another's opinion without attempting to judge their character as well

that, is always a fatal flaw when talking to others. I would not ever think to dissuade you from your opinion as you seem to think so highly of it

but again, it is of no consequence to me. end of this silly and pointless exchange....but don't let that stop you

The reason why the bible warns men about women and not women about men is for the same reason that the bible tells fathers not to cause their children to stumble and not mothers.

I haven't forgotten my promise to explain my other comments in context of how I raised my answers. God bless sister.

anyway, if you don't think men are also seductive and sneaky and happy to be that way, then I would say you have never been a woman

go check out the Biden (cough cough) administration...buncha sneaky, deceptive liars, seducing half the country and parts of the world...not Afghanistan though
You shouldn't confuse being seductive and sneaky with being a liar, a creep and a cad. In Biden's case, the only one, and I mean - the only one - who believes Biden's lies, is Biden himself. Samson was defeated by Delilah - Let's Go Brandon would have been killed with an ass-bone before he even got close.

I think when dealing with a fool, you can't win, hence the warning.

"Let a man meet a bear robbed of her cubs, rather than a fool in his folly." Proverbs 17:12 (NKJV)

And Proverbs 26:4 - 5
Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.

So it is wise to seek like-minded people for fellowship.

It would be nice if you replied to the post and person you are addressing. If I could read what person X said to you, I might be able to agree with you. Or perhaps not! As it is, I have no clue who you are talking to. I can't click on it, or even search, because I don't know who you are addressing.

It's not a rule, but it really helpful if you press reply, then the rest of the forum knows what and who you are talking about. In the event you don't want the rest of the forum to know who you are talking to and about what, it would behoove you to talk the conversation private, in some PMs, rather than carrying on a public conversation if you don't want the rest of us to know, or join in.

Just a little note to explain the usual way things are done here. And it works well! No insult at all!

Did you read the second post by @VineyardsOfEngedi?

Here is the first and second post she made:

Why does the Bible warn men against women and not women against men?
I'm wondering if there is a reason for that besides the obvious regurgitated reason from the garden?
Do we actually care if we answer what the author has asked or are we intend on establishing what the author has stated is already clear?

Isn't your reference to the letter to Timothy a reference to Genesis?

Yes, the answer is women are a problem.....they are more easily deceived, sinned with the angels, and seek the authority of men

That's what happened in the garden and that is the purpose of the instruction in timothy

Many Christians have a problem with this revelation of scripture because the world tells them women are the equal of men

Well yes that was in part Paul's purpose in instructing Timothy. It was to do with the garden - but the author of the post expressly asked another question. You told me I had guessed at my answer.

Wisdom requires us to see what people are asking and to know how to answer according to what is asked. Don't you believe that may be a more gracious way of responding?

Women are not THE problem - men are THE problem and women just A problem if we want to be accurate in how we instruct women in their part in the garden. And as to that claim I have made - Adam as THE problem was innocent when he sinned was not deceived and knew exactly what he was doing. Eve was already deceived. So how will we help out wives or sisters in Christ if all we can do is tell them about THEIR problem?

Yet in all His omnipotence, the Holy Spirit of God felt no need to "inspire" men to write any such SPECIFIC warning about the men .......
