This counting is from thursday to saturday is not biblical .


Not matthew 28 :1 it say in the end of the sabbth , that is the sabbath was closing off and the first day did not come as yet .And Jesus was already risen . he is not here saith the angels hmmm something to think about

the day start in the evening . Hmmmm i can say for example that we are in the end of a movie but the movie has not finish as yet nor has a new one started . Note it is going toward the first day :)

it is only when Jesus came that we know how long Jonah was in the belly of the whale . Yet so many Christians brush this simple but significant sign apart why ?

No, I believe Saturday night, I do know there were 2 Sabbaths that week. One high sabbath for passover than the normal Sabbath (7th day) The testimony of Jonah in the belly of the great fish is a 2nd witness to Christ in hell. It was 3 days and 3 nights.

Why Saturday night? Christ was buried just before sunset on Wednesday. Three days and three nights later is just before sunset on Saturday.

He didn't die on Friday. If He did, show me three days and three nights from Firday afternoon at sunset to Sunday morning before sunrise.

Can't see it either, but He was not put in the tomb after sunset, that would have Him being buried on a high day and the Jews would not do that. He had to be buried before sunset.

He died as our Passover Lamb - so 3 days to 3 nights puts you at sunset Saturday evening which is the 1st night/day. The 1st day begins on Saturday night and ends at sunset Sunday.

Why would we want to change what inspiration has told us?

Is this a new church trying to make money?

Mark 16:2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.

No offence 2Thewaters, but I don't give a rip what inspiration tells us if it is contrary to the Word of God.

morning is twelve hours from evening
just before dawn, like 11 hours past saturday nightlke 5 am

How could you possibly come to the conlusion that inspiration goes against the word of God?
That is strange doctrine

I have heard many claims of inspiration that are diametrically opposite of the Word of God.
