I am so sorry. I am new here. I thought that the chat was about the Bible. I have been studying it for many, many years and would like to share what I have found so far.
I have noticed that some of you get irritated or even offended seing biblical verses placed before you. Is it, perhaps, because of: 2Ti 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
In my Bible Adam was made to eat the fruit because of the woman Ge 3:12+17. The woman in turn was tempted by serpent not satan Ge 3:4.
Only those who didn't read the O.T. will be surprised to see that God might be " against us".
You say "Jesus talking to Peter that satan should go away". I am not good in English but I don't see your point. How can Jesus talk to Peter that satan should go away?
Please defend your doctrine with the Bible in mind. I am doing just that. If you want me to go, tell me. I will go from this chat room. After all, if you find the Word of God offensive, I have no place here. But bear in mind that many people might read this and learn a think or two.

Well i dont know why you are offensive. As you say i must defend. I am not willing to start this. I am totally not against the Word of God and please do not say such things here.
Mat 16 22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
That was a verse i ment for example.

Is so totally misused in this way. You say it all the time. You are acusing the whole time. Why dont you use the verse for yourself. You have itching ears rather, because Angel Armies came her with a very good topic.
