...you are looking for the next bush to hide behind ...
God is her shield.
she is not afraid or ashamed.
Adam didn't think he could hide from God; he was ashamed.

salvation is not 'second chance to keep the law' -- salvation is the power of sin is taken away, and death has no more sting or victory. grace is not an excuse to sin, but grace is sin having been excused.

walk humbly. love mercy.

Is this your honest anwer? I'll try again, Do you believe Jesus "cleanses us from all unrighteousness"?

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Maybe the reason why you didn't answer is because you know that if He cleanses us from all unrighteousness, that would make us righteous, without sin, due to the abstinence of all unrighteousness, right?
if the 'true believer' has no sin to confess, what is 1 John 1:9 doing in the Bible?
is John writing to the unsaved?

That sin is only excused if you have His Blood on you ...you don't.

how do you claim to know if His blood is on me or not?
didn't He come to save sinners, not the righteous?
so isn't it those who have no need of Him that do not have His blood on them?
if you claim to have no sin - then what would His blood be doing on you?

it would be innocent blood shed for nothing, right?
Christ's sacrifice would be an abomination, as @DanielLL calls it? innocent blood shed for the ungodly?

How do i know? Because you never got on The Cross ...so how do i know that? You are still under sin slavery with no rest. You are still carnal and blind trying to read Scripture. You have nothing but excuses to continue being a slave.

Because you never got on The Cross ...
nor did you.

it is Christ who was crucified; in your place, bearing your sin.

what conclusion shall i draw from it?
that my place is to accuse everyone?

as though He did not also bear my own?

You said the magic words ...but didn't change your ways ...at all.

you are literally calling people glorying in God, praising Him for His work of salvation, "excuses"
Yeah, i get it, you want to blow CHRIST kisses on The Cross ...doesn't work that way. You actually have to pick up your cross and Follow Him.

i was saved at a Christian summer camp, in my bunk, reflecting on things i had been taught, and praying.
or maybe even earlier - from the moment i first believed. i can't say. but this was the moment i came to knowledge of salvation.
i purposefully refused to answer any 'altar call' and refused to say any 'magic words' - despising since my youth as poor facsimiles of actual conversion.
when i went home i sought out our pastor and asked to be baptized.

my post record here is publically available. anyone can search it.
i speak out frequently against a formulaic 'magic words = salvation' paradigm.
anyone can verify this.
salvation is a supernatural work of God.

it is very clear to anyone who cares to do the legwork to gain real understanding, @Obey-JESUS, that Magenta is correct: you speak without knowledge, slanderously accusing the saints. and furthermore, seeing that this thread has been going on for 24 pages, and you have continued in this behaviour despite repeated attempts to correct you, from gentle to firm, that you are continuing in this sin willfully.

if i regard your argument, what do your own actions say about you?

Kiss the Son, lest He be angry,
and you perish in the way,
when His wrath is kindled but a little.
Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him!

(Psalm 2:12)

Yes, this would be problem ...if you were a Brother.
you are correct in that a man who makes it his business to slanderously accuse without knowledge those who put their faith in Christ is not my brother.

((rolls eyes)) ohh, right the literal problem.

I'm saying you are mocking GOD ...please consider if sin is still sin or not.

Galatians 6:7–8
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

So this message of stopping repeated willful sin doesn't make any sense to you ...because you think you are automatically covered ...that means you do follow the magic words idea. You don't care at all about picking your cross up.
