Only it wasn't called the church. It was called the congregation (Greek ecclesia). The word church is man's contribution to God's word. I don't believe the word even existed more than 800 years ago.

Thank you brother!! Had to bold this so people can read it again. If God does not keep his unconditional promises to the Jews, we have no hope in heaven as Gentiles. Either you can trust God or you can't. UNCONDITIONAL promises!! Why does no one know that?! Unreal. smh

You think translation is somehow an excuse to say The Church isn't a thing? i agree GOD doesn't care about us going to a building with some guy on a stage ...The Church is the people ...The Kingdom Body of CHRIST. We are Married to CHRIST.

Col 1:18
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Premillennialism is an elaborate excuse to avoid being a Citizen of The Kingdom today ...to be a Child of GOD ...to have a welcoming Temple for GOD'S Presence to be in. What do you think that Oil was about with the Parable of the Ten Virgins?

it's an excuse to not get Right with GOD. You tell yourself, "Oh, if i see that Temple being built or see a real mark of the beast, i'll stop sinning." You know a finite Reign with a physical GOD doesn't make any sense ...you just want to sin.

The Holy Spirit does not control us at all. We would like for that to happen so we are always in God's Perfect Will. But we still make many decisions in life the Holy Spirit would not want us to make. We all sin every day. To say we don't, is the Sin of Lying!

It's like when Paul said, there is neither Jew nor Gentile. He did not mean the Jews no longer exist or the Gentiles no longer exist. He meant, when we give our lives to Christ, there is differences whether we are black/white/brown or jew/gentile or asian/african/italian/whatever.

There are still Jews, Asians, Africans even if we are Christian. Just there are no differences like race/creed within the Family of God.
