Ever noticed how whenever someone tries to say something he/she thinks it is important or how someone wants to correct someone else on this site, and probably in real life to, they do the following:

1 The BIG Word approach
They use as complicated words as possible so that people would value their opinion more.
What did Jesus do...
The more people tried to argue with Him, the more He started to explain it with a story so that the simplistic of minds (children) could understand what He was saying using the easiest words possible.

2 The BIG Name approach
They refer you to all the names of people you are "suppose" to know and try to make you understand that because THOSE people said so... it must certainly be valid.
What did Jesus say...
Do not put yourself above anyone else, but let your place be given to you. Don't put any man on a pedestal. You have one teacher which is Christ.

3 The Repetitive approach
They repeat the same statements over and over written just slightly in a different way, as if the value of their arguments are now suddenly going to be more.
What did Jesus say about repetitions...
Don't use vain repetitions when you pray to God like the heathen do, because they think they will be heard because of their many words.... Repetition doesn't make something true, God does.

4 The Diminishing approach
They try to say how insignificant you are and how ignorant you are as a person if they don't agree with you.
What did Jesus do...
Every time Jesus was in an argument, He simply proved the truth by His actions

5 The Mob Approach
They get as many people as they can that agree with them to come as say the same things, some just in a different way... because if more than one is saying it... then it must be true.
What did Jesus say...
Jesus said He is the way the truth and the life. It was His way. Follow or face the consequences. No MOB needed.

6 If it didn't happen to me, then it is IMPOSSIBLE to happen to you approach
Often people want to exclaim that before something doesn't happen to them, whatever you experienced must be untrue.
What did Jesus say....
Be like these children. Who get excited over every experience they receive and excited about every experience their friends receive and believe both as absolute.

7 Setting up ERA's approach
People set up a time limit to what God did. From this time to that time this counted. And from that to that this counted. In this period in time God healed, in this time God brought prophecy. In this time He separated specific people for a task. But that was then and this is now. So it could not possibly happen now, for then is not now.
What is one of the truths about God
He is YESTERDAY, TODAY and TOMMOROW the same. God doesn't change. That which He did before the time of Noah selecting people, He did in the time of Moses, Daniel, His disciples... and yes...you. Before the time of Noah their were people that were unwilling, in the time of Moses a whole group was given to the earth, there is a reason why people went to Babylon, and even one of His very close disciples chose not to give himself completely to Christ. All by choice... Which choice will you make?

8 Using the LAW as an excuse not to have FAITH!?!
People constantly claim faith until they have to put the LAW into practice. Following the commandments. Then suddenly they want to say, but this LAW and that LAW doesn't count anymore because we now have faith.
What did Jesus say...
He did not come to take away the LAW but to fulfill it.
Because the LAW brings faith. For through obedience comes faith. For you will see God work when you OBEY. For God loves to work in LOVE. And in obedience you are in fullness of His love.

9 Easier criticize than to follow Christ's method
We often come into a house or a website and we simply acknowledge all the mistakes that people make and made and emphasize its importance.
What did Jesus say...A say House divided in itself cannot stand.... and wherever you go, when entering a house wish that House PEACE.

Just something to think about...
