Eagles fly above the storm, not in the storm. Some examples are Noah's ark, Paul singing in prison, and as Romans says, not being overcome by evil, but overcoming evil with good. Someone in your life could try to cause a bunch of drama, put you down, and just bug you. But you can fly above that storm by not letting it work, and only caring what God thinks of you.
Lets say there are two kids. The first kid just got off the school bus, and a couple bullies swiped his jacket. He begged and cried for it back, while the bullies laughed and played monkey in the middle with his jacket, as he ran back and forth trying to get it back.
Same thing happened to another kid on another day. When they swiped his jacket, he told them they could keep it. They said, "Who wants your stinking jacket?" Then they threw it back to him and walked away.
They werent given the the reaction that they were trying for. They weren't able to play him like a puppet, so they gave up. The second kid did not accept the storm, and his emotions weren't tossed by the winds of the storm.
Unfortunately some peoples maturity levels don't grow along with their bodies, and they try to cause reactions in people. No matter what the storm is, we can always rejoice in Christ. There will always be storms, but you don't have to fly in them. God gave us wings as eagles so that we can fly above them.
