I guess I have a hard time just tossing it out even though it's beyond "usable" because I find it heart wrenching that here we are talking about replacing Bibles and owning more than one copy, and yet there are places in the world where there is only 1 copy for entire villages, where people are so hungry for the Word and Truth that they'll walk for miles (sometimes a days travel) just to hear a preacher or reading from the Bible.
God can draw near and reveal Himself in many ways. Noah and Abraham did OK. Men sought God long before the Written Word came into existence. You have a good heart. The best thing to do for people without Bibles is to pray that they would be sensitive to other manifestations of His glorious grace and power.

Romans 1:20
“For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”

Making some kind of art or decor seems really nice. If thats not possible, one could bury it or burn it. Being reverent about such things is key.
