Hi brothers and sisters in the lord.I do agree with Greybeard and also Pastor keith with what they are saying. I have heard many people in the name of Greek and Hebrew changed many context words to fit their particular teaching or Doctrine.for example they will say it was not so and so in the original but it actually means so and so,just follow carefully what that person is driving at, you would be shocked at the twist of the word to fit their teaching.I usually ask some of those teachers" Did you believe the message of the cross preached to you in Greek or Hebrew"?the response is usually no,so why go back to Greek or hebrew when we have sure translations like the KJV.
coming back to the question the reason we fear God he sent his son Jesus to die for them, they know they are in the world but not of the world and in response to that thy want their light or{ character}so shine before men so that they might see their good works and glorify their father who is heaven. In a nut shell it is putting God first in every minute detail of their daily lives WHICH IS WHAT TRUE LOVE IS ALL ABOUT.1 John1verse4-5"The man who says i know Him but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in Him,But if anyone obeys His word Gods love is truly made complete in Him,This is how we know we are in Him;whoeverclaims to live in him must walk as Jesus did".

as far as saying that it is respect we are to show Him,whitch is right, this means accepting Him to be right and only folllowing Him; as he guides the way (to many things blessing rewards knowleage wisdom) all the good stuff but thats all to his name

so when the Bibile talks about the God fearing are this and that its talking about the people that "abid by His rules" "look to Him in need" "do His will to honor Him, becuse they know its right(good)" Hope this help

do you see in the Bible where it says to love your cat??? we are speaking about spiritual things not carnal, walk in the spirit not in the flesh. any other silly comments you want to make
Yes, if you judge this to be silly..so be it
do you call yourself a man of God?...is that how you, being a Christian pastor treat your neighbor?...did you not even bother to read my post properly and see what I was trying to ask with a sincere heart?...you have undermined and trampled a me, a lessor brother.
Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Mat 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
these I do not find in you....are you a false prophet?

Do you practice what you preach?

1Co 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
1Co 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

now He who is in me is far greater than he that is in the world, and because the the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is in me I forgive you for the hurt you have caused me, however your credibility as a pastor in my view has gone.
have a good day
