Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

What is the labour and heavy load? What is this rest?

If you know what the labour is and you know what the heavy load is and you have gone to Christ for rest, you know what it means to be free in Christ.

I believe it is the only way to know.

Otherwise all you have is people thinking that their work at the law is the way to God and Paul must be mistaken or "taken out of context" or "hard to understand".

Paul is impossible to understand without first coming to Christ and receiving rest...

It means coming out from under the Law with its restrictions and condemnation and seeking to fulfil the law of Christ by loving God and loving our neighbour as ourselves. In other words it encourages positive living in accord with Christ's teaching. But he then warns about the danger of using freedom as license to sin. It is a matter of balance.

Yessssir.

Our freedom is multifaceted.

It is Heb 3 & 4

It is a table prepared for a feast as David said,in the presence of my enemies.

It is,as Galatians puts it,the opposite of bondage.

It is being a slave and being free.

It is dying to resurrect daily as Paul discovered.

FREEDOM IS WORK.

That will mess up the hyper gracers....that last nugget.

Means that Jesus has forgiven us and gives us another chance, means we can be free from guilt and know God Loves you no matter what. We just have to learn to forgive our selves. It's hard but God Knows our hearts when we repent he will give us a new way and to distract us in something good. Jesus died so we won't have to and we can just ask Him for another chance and accept and follow Him.
