If that is your attitude then you should go around with like-minded people and then you could set all the rest of the world straight....as to the so-called "truth of the Lord"....

Look up Westboro Baptist Church and there you will find the same spirit operating as the one you subscribe to...
Please do not prescribe any further judgement as it will always come back to YOU.

its says it is detestable before God.Im talking about the act.God will love a person including me all the way to hell if i choose to not obey him and live a life of willful sin.I also believe that knowing better and the answer ourselves we try to get other opinions to justify what we are doing when its is against Gods Word=Bible.Hopefully this helps you and answers your question. Also pray God can deliver a person from any kind of problem in life and restore you completely. The old testament talks about this lifestyle, although today society seems to accept it,but that still doesnt make it right before God.He is unchanging.

Rich, it's true, you should back off and breathe and think a bit more before you post a bunch more threats and condemnation, or you will end up banned, and I really don't want that to happen.

Don't be a troll Richard and try to get along with the other residents of our community.

I'm not convinced this is your garden variety troll. This is a truly sick, and perhaps even captive mind. From reading his posts he thinks HE is the Lord, and has power to pronounce judgments on people.

If he is just a troll out to get a rise on the Children of God, then bravo Richard! But alas, I think brother Tourist is right. You will soon be consigned to the trash heap bandom. Maybe to start another account, but we know your MO now so that won't last either.

My name is not "Rich" by the way, it offends me that you see me that way. You spake to me in such a condescending way that I had little to no remorse about my decisions in regards.

Richard, what's the matter? People have willingly abandoned their own purposes, some even to death, for the sake of Christ Jesus. Don't let petty disagreements with other people be such a snare to you. Seriously, there's no private interpretation of God's Word that would result in such disharmony. You and I and everyone here are missing out on the fruit of the spirit by engaging in such foolish, useless squabbles. I'm saying "we", not any one particular person.

My friend, Jim Minker just wrote yesterday:
In Christ, we have been set free from the bondage of the mind that is ever seeking but never finding, the mind that thrives on the thrill of discovering what others don’t know. In Christ, we have not been delivered into a new hierarchy with the better levels kept hidden from others; rather, in Him, we have all been set free so that we might know that which is hidden from the mind that despises such equality.

Truthfully, if we can't continue a peaceful conversation in here, we should all just opt out of this thread. Doesn't that make sense? The worst thing for the lost world to see is bickering Christians who can't even have a simple discussion. May Jesus Christ be glorified in our surrendering our useless argument to Him. Ya know?

Or look-up ChristianChat -- Bible Discussion Forum. After all. Isn't that about where 90% of people are who come to this forum? If you think I'm kidding, look at the threads on Page One right now. The only reason they're not all "I'm right and you're wrong" is because OldHermit's thread is still alive and kicking, and I just bumped up Psychomom's thread so at least one conversation isn't about proving self.

It's just a good way for Satan to pervert marriage and make it upside down and backwards to spit in Gods face. If you a Christian and you condone that, then you are too spitting in his face and you need to repent. That's a very very serious thing. Jesus called the church his bride and he is the groom. Not the groom groom. God created Adam and Eve not eve and eve. The husband and wife is the back bone of families with out both of these the house will fall and Saran will win. If you are a Christian and you a for gay marriage, then you are against his creation of marriage and family.

And THIS IS THE TRUTH, NOT SOME DISTORTED MAKE-BELIEF STORY THAT MANY HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT.

I once was on a holiday in Greece. There were a lot of Dutch and German people in the hotel. Holland is mostly non christian.
There was a gay couple and it was an evening with some music for the guests where you got free food.
The gay couple, one older Dutch man who picked up a young guy in Indonesia, sat at the table. Noone, absolutely noone picked that table or they'd go sit at the end of it.
Only ones who sat next to them and started a friendly conversation where my ex and I.
No they're not being discriminated, not at all.

Christ forgives all sins equally. And our carnal minds can't grasp that truth, our own understanding is offended at grace that won't let us feel like our own efforts have ratcheted us up a few notches above worse sinners. We are sold on the delusional concept that we're not as bad as the next guy.

Don't you remember where it's written about the Pharisee who said, "I thank You, God that I'm not like other people - cheaters, sinners, adulterers. I’m certainly not like that tax collector over there!I fast and give a tenth of my income."

While the tax collector couldn't even lift his eyes up to God for he recognized his own weakness in the flesh. "Oh God, be merciful to me a sinner!"

Jesus said the tax collector walked away justified but the Pharisee did not. Because the Pharisee was confident in his self efforts and even in his judgment of the tax collector. But Jesus said he wasn't justified.

Our own understanding doesn't accept that. We're sure there's worse sins than others. And we are dead wrong. Jesus said if you justify yourself (say you're not as bad as others) you are spiritually blind. There ain't no getting around that. There is only one way to witness to others about Christ - ONE WAY - die to your own understanding and let Christ live through you. Abandon the logic of the world which compares people with people.

We have one standard - Jesus. None of us measure up to Him in our outward man. NONE of us. It is only within our hearts that Christ reigns that the fruit of His spirit might be evident to the world: Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Again, Jesus says to those who make claim that their efforts have earned them His kingdom, "Go away. I never knew you." But those who are not conscious of themselves but aware only of Jesus, the Lord welcomes them into His kingdom.

Don't you see that when we accuse another person of being worse than ourselves, we are saying our efforts make us better? Like the Pharisee in the temple condemning the tax collector? Jesus said that behavior is not justified.

YOU only deserve DEATH
We must all die; we are like water spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again.
But God will not take away life, and he devises means so that the banished one will not remain an outcast.

If Im not mistaken the question for this thread is: "what does the bible say about homosexuality?" the question is do people want that answer, or do they wish to justify this particular type of bondage in some way? it is bondage as is all sin and our Savor freed us from it, anyone who chooses to can read the scriptures describing those persons who wish to become entangled in it again, 1 john 3:4 clearly defines what sin is... its mankind that seems to magnify one above the other.
The Bottom line is that we as believers should hate what He hates and love what He loves... He didn't set His order of things for us to do as we please and upset that order without serious results... He loves us all but will not be mocked, now either we stand with Him or against Him. We fight not against flesh and blood so please lets get this straight and stop fight one another, the enemy of our souls laughs us to scorn when we do so, and more importantly we bring reproach upon His character as His representative on this earth, keep it simple walk with Him (prov.3:5-6) and rather then pointing to others sin, work instead to cooperate in setting the captives free, his will is restoration for all of us...

Once I got a pm from a Westboro baptist that homosexuals deserved death and God hates evildoers.
Said: Yup He hates us all so much that He wants us to die and He loves us all so much that He gave His Life, so we can die and be raised with Him.

All other sins a person commits are outside the body,
but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

(1 Corinthians 6:18)

did everyone catch that?

All other sins a person commits are outside the body,
but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

(1 Corinthians 6:18)

these people did not sin against you.
