Will it be frightening or comforting to know that there's nothing I could hide from God?

I think it is the most comforting thought we can have. I used to think I could hide things from God. Actually, I had a lot of pain from my youth hidden from myself.

God brought things to light, and healed me. God knows our very thoughts.

"You know when I sit down and when I rise up. You understand my thought from afar." Psalm 139:2

God created us, he loves us, and he set Jesus to die for all those wrongful thoughts, sins and inner fears we fight.

"God demonstrates his love for us in this, that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

We can confess our sins and be cleaned. If God loved us before we knew him, how much more does he love us now?

Life after this life will be good, if we have lived according to His leading, confessed our sins, lived in full righteousness knowing we are in Him, and, our sins are ALL forgiven--past, present, future-- through His Word showing us His truths, that begin and end with Him, with His Love for us, with His blood shed for us with death on the cross of His Son . 1 John 1:9 :)

Comforting, because of how intimate that relationship with God is. He knows you better than you know yourself. Only God can love you more powerfully than your own mother can.

That's it in a nutshell. Frightening while we are hiding and comforting when we come into the Light confessing.
