2 Corinthians 1:22
who also sealed us, and gave us the down payment of the Spirit in our hearts.

Ephesians 1:13
in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation,-in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 4:30
Don't grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

2 Timothy 2:19
But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” '

The stamp of approval, evidence of ownership?

bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.” '

So simply claiming the "seal" does not work. The Seal is by God and it is...."Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity" If you are not doing that you don't get to claim you are sealed.

That one part you spoke about the stamp of approval evidence of ownership that part in particular caught my eye because of something that happened when I was a new believer. I always assumed this seal was the holy spirit and I am sure it is but I wonder what seal he gave me when I was a new believer. It was about three months into my raod with him and I often lay down in the dark and be still just to know him and be with him in this time we were having a very intimate moment together just pouring our love and adoration for each other I saw his heart in my minds eye and endearingly wrote the word mine on it yet at the same time he did it to me on my forehead except I actually felt it like he branded it on my head it wasn't painful it actually felt kind of nice

While I do not disagree in principle with your conclusion, perhaps it would be better understood in this way:

2 Tim. 2:19, God's firm foundation stands no matter what. The seal of ownership, once placed cannot be removed, except by the one who placed it (God). He knows them. This "seal", guarantees that the one bearing it, will depart from iniquity. However, this departing is gradual and continual, as that sealed individual learns the Truth. It is also called "Progressive Sanctification." But the seal is sure and fixed, in this way, it should be understood:

Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Joh 10:28 and I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand.
Joh 10:29 My Father, who hath given them unto me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

A firmly fixed "Seal" indeed.

Once sealed, always sealed. The Holy Spirit leads us away from our natural tendencies to a higher ground.
Because per Eph 1:11....11 In Him we also have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things in accordance with the plan of His will,

Amen! When something is sealed, it means that it is very very special. That is what makes apostacy such a horrible thing.

Sealed unto the day of redemption. Predestined to the Adoption. Which is the redemption of the body . Rom 8.23
We are secure as can ever be .Millions of Christians denying that they are actually saved.

1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Matt 7: 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

The Holy Spirit is the down payment of the redemption that is to come. The day of redemption is when we are glorified and receive resurrection bodies.

There is also a seal that only God sees “The Lord knows those who are his,” and as far as what we can see it is evident by those who are departing from iniquity.
“Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.”

The fake ones don't depart from iniquity. The immorality in their lives is usually the tell tale sign. But they often excuse it with a doctrine that says 'no one is perfect, don't judge'

Iniquity is in the heart. That is what needs to change. You can fake actions but you can't fake what is in your heart.

Immorality can be pretty subjective. Is my sin as bad as yours? No. Of course not. Your sin is WAY worse than mine...

The Holy Spirit, Gods Seal, is the CAUSE of departing from iniquity. It is the ONLY cause and the ONLY means.

Those who name the name of the Lord should be sealed by God. Are they?

C.I. Scofield lived and died in Adultery, being married to Hettie Van Wart, the young girl in the church he pastored, he abandoned his wife Leotine and two daughters (Adultery)

Scofield is the father of modern dispensationalism, his 1909 reference bible was the greatest world influence in planting dispensationalism in the minds and hearts of the unaware.

Scofield was the mentor of Lewis S. Chaffer, the founder of Dallas Theological Seminary, the world headquarters for dispensationalism

Scofield died being married to Hettie, while his wife Leotine lived (Adultery)

Exactly. If the Holy Spirit is in them they will be departing from iniquity. This is the seal.
2 Timothy 2:19
But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.

This statement was given for this reason. This is how we can tell. Don't be deceived. Talk is cheap. Show your faith by your works, show your repentance by your fruit, don't make up false teaching claiming eternal security without the necessity of a holy life.

How do we know who has saving faith and who is playing a role? You may not be 100% like God is, but He gives you a basic guide...

But God’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his," (He is never fooled) and, (as to us, we are not going to always know 100% because we are not God and do not know every heart, however he gives us a basic guide and it will usually be good enough to go by “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity. "

Now when this is really happening it produces a certain character, and fruit that cannot be faked. Be involved in the church long enough and you can tell whos are his most of the time and who is not, though you might not be 100%.

How can we be 100%? we can't. But that does not change the point that most of the time we can tell by their holy life, which cannot be faked and comes only by the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit. If our brother or sisters are living in unrepentant sin, we go to them in love and tell them the truth. We do not want them to be deceived. We warn because the scripture tells us to:

19Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

No need to twist that verse all about and try and make it say something different than the author intended. Just believe it and obey, it might mean the difference between heaven and hell for someone.

I guess I'm missing your point here.

If you agree that it is the Holy Spirit that is the seal and the cause and reason for departing from Iniquity then do you just misunderstand what it is that the Holy Spirit does in the Christian?

If you find yourself trying real hard to depart from iniquity you just mire yourself up in it even worse. The only way to depart from iniquity is to rest from your work at departing from iniquity. Trust in Christ that His Work is Sufficient in you to cause you to live a holy life and be Righteous before God.

I'm not going to think of green elephants anymore. They cause my iniquity. I have to stop thinking of green elephants.

What have I done here? I have caused my entire focus to be on green elephants. It is now ALL I can think of.

I'm going to trust in Christ. I'm going to trust that the Lord, who started a good work in me, will finish His Good Work. He Saved me for a reason and I trust He Will complete it. Thank You Lord. I know this will be done in your timing. Help me to be strong Lord. Help me to be strong for those that need my strength.

See the change in focus here? One from my work to Gods Work. God is better at this than we are...
