Can you explain this?
the Roman empire wasn't the literal whole world:
Luke 2:1 KJV — And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus,
that all the world should be taxed.

what are you talking about ?
The whole world is still growing today
“And
this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and
then shall the end come.”
Matthew 24:14 KJV
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen.”
Matthew 28:18-20 KJV
The gospel began to be preached in Israel and after Jesus died and rose it was sent to the end of the world for every creature
to hear and believe for thier salvation forever until Jesus returns at the end of the world
“And he said unto them,
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Mark 16:15-16 KJV
That’s true until he comes back and ends this world. We’re being saved from the end of ourselves with the world in other words death.
why are you talking about rome ? I didn’t say that I was quoting someone who said it to me
Rome destroyed Jerusalem in ad 67-70 which is what the prophets foretold , what Jesus said would happen in matthew 24 and what did happen in 70 ad after three years of besiegement Jerusalem fell to rome.
The remnant that survived and had escaped before the great persecutions of Nero and Titus on the church and the Jews were carrying the gospel ( Christians) and were scattered into all the nations even until todays times Jews and Christian’s exist everywhere because the gospel is spread among mankind
and Moses law and the prophets ( Jews and former Jewish Christians)
that’s how your Bible reached you and how salvation is offered to you and I
“And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of
the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.”
Isaiah 2:3 KJV
“
Hearken unto me, my people; and
give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people. My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and
mine arms shall judge the people; the
isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.”
Isaiah 51:4-5 KJV
“
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk
without money and without price. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.”
Isaiah 55:1, 3 KJV
“
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me,
hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.”
John 5:24 KJV
that’s what
the gospel of the kingdom is promised the law of the spirit and the word of God spoken by Jesus the son that came forth beginning at Jerusalem offering salvation to all who believe
It’s this the law and word of the lord that gives life
“Then
opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, and said unto them, Thus
it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: ( Jesus suffered and died for our sins and rose )
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are
witnesses of these things.” ( chosen apostles to all the world of the gospel )
Luke 24:45-48 KJV
“Therefore
my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.”
Isaiah 52:6 KJV
“Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath
comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.( who believed)
The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.”
Isaiah 52:9-10 KJV
He sent the believers of Israel out to the nations of gentiles because many of Israel most rejected him and condemned him some later repented like Paul , Silas and Timothy . others continued to accuse and persecute Jesus followers through the New Testament as they did Jesus in Jerusalem the apostles were sent out to the whole world offering ten same gospel to
be included into the gospel of the kingdom if we believe
“
Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. And I will
wait upon the LORD, that hideth his face from the house of Jacob,
and I will look for him.
Behold, I and the children whom the
LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.”
Isaiah 8:16-18 KJV
That’s this and it’s forever for all
“And he said unto them,
Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
And
these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. ( acts of the apostles )
So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And
they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” ( acts of the apostles )
Mark 16:15-20 KJV
the gospel is just the same things he taught believers of him in the gospel and won't change
