It is the crystal firmament above the chariot in Ezekiel 1:4,13,22, as viewed from above. The fire is the same as the lightning surrounding the chariots, and is caused by piezoelectric effect of the pressure of God's desire for us to be filled with His glory pushing down from above. The prayer songs of the victorious elect drive the chariot in our day, so we may be transformed as they were before us.
