PAUL covers this line of thought as well...are you so foolish..having begunnin the spirit are you now made complete by the flesh.....faith into Christ is what saves period...by adding your works of obeyance you teach a gospel of a different kind that has bo power ro save bro....believe and confess with the mouth equals eternal salvation period and God uses chastisment upon disobedient SONS WHO DO NOT OBEY AND SERVE....WAKE UP Dave..no one who teaches faith for salvation also teaches a life of disobedience...but obeyung does not add to nor facillitate the eternal life and salvation which comes by faith and faith alone!.......
i teach what the Word of God teaches, you do not believe the Word of God if you do not believe me, for i teach what the Word of God teaches. If then you disagree with me, you do not disagree with me, but with the Word of God. If the Word of God teaches plainly that eternal Salvation is to them that OBEY Jesus, then i believe that, you do not believe that verse, how can you? There are many verses you do not believe, because you do not believe the Word of God, you will claim you believe the Word of God, but you really don't when you do not believe Scriptures. Simple question for you brother, Do you believe Hebrew 5:9, Do you believe you must OBEY JESUS in order to have Eternal Salvation like the Word of God teaches?

Act_5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
Who is given the Holy Ghost, with Holy Spirit Gifts? Those who OBEY HIM. Believe the Scriptures, or do you believe something other than what Scriptures teach.
Answer this simple question, Do you believe Hebrew 5:9. Yes or No?
Heb 5:9 And being made perfect, He (Jesus) became the author of Eternal Salvation unto all them that OBEY Him;
Or do you pick and choose which verses you will believe and which ones you won't believe?
