But we hate him and choose idols thinking they are him unless born again.
Yes sometimes, however
reading scripture with a view
that it explains all circumstances at all times is a problem.

“And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.” Deuteronomy 30:6 (KJV 1900)

He removes our heart of stone and gives us a new heart = you believe because God saved you so you could believe.
You didn’t answer my question.

Also, Where’s the “heart of stone” reference?

Great passage if you’re a Jew.😉

14 Again the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
15 Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the Lord: unto us is this land given in possession.
16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.
17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord God; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

We are Israel under the New Covenant. So all the kingdom prophecies find fulfillment in Jesus.

Spiritual Israel, not God’s house of Israel, the physical brethren in the Ezekiel passage. The Gentile Church is not prophesied about in the OT.

We were added to the Israeli church (Romans 11). As God removed the unbelievers. Israel is spiritual today. And the promises are yes only in Jesus.

Spiritually added, not physically. You must see the difference. Ezekiel is concerning God’s physical people Israel.

We have free will to choose salvation or not for God's kingdom is true love and not robotic love, and He is not evil to condemn people that have no choice but to reject the truth.

And God said He wants all people to repent, acknowledge the truth, and be saved, and the Spirit and bride say Come, and anybody can have that salvation, and Jesus lights every person born in this world which means everybody has the chance to see the truth and be saved, and Jesus is the Lamb that takes away the sins of the world.

And predestination means that God already had the plan of salvation to give to mankind before He laid down the foundation of the world but this salvation is to whoever wants this salvation.

But this free will would of never chosen the truth if God did not intervene in their life.

For many are called but few are chosen, which God calls and chooses on earth.

No person says Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

No person comes to the Son unless the Father draws them.

Peter said Jesus is the Christ the Son of the living God, and Jesus said flesh and blood did not reveal that to him but the Father.

If people claim Jesus as Lord and Savior, and the Son of God, then God is working in their life.

So although we have free will we would of never accepted the truth without God intervening in our life which started because of our heart condition when God called us, for not many noble, not many wise after the flesh, not many mighty are called because their heart condition is too self exalting and their love for people is not that great.

God chose us we did not choose Him.

When God calls a person He will work in their life to get them to the truth, and when they get to the door of truth they have to decide to go through it for God's kingdom is true love, but they could of not gotten to the door of truth unless God intervened in their life, so while we have a choice we could of never accepted the truth unless God intervened in our life for the flesh alone will not accept the truth.

As an example is creation testifies that there is a God that created all things but some did not want to retain that knowledge in their mind and believe it, but attributed nature to God and things came about a different way which evolution is a good example.

When they continued in that for a while God gave them over to a reprobate mind which He did not work with them to know the truth and they only went by the flesh which in the flesh dwells no good thing, and they were filled with all unrighteousness and they would never be able to come to the truth, nor would they care as they were highly arrogant, and self exalting.

And for people who say our works earn us salvation it is being led of the Spirit that saves us, which we have to make the choice to allow the Spirit to lead us, which some have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof.

They are not works of the flesh but works of the Spirit so people have nowhere to glory, and we know we have to do works of the Spirit and be Christlike or then we are disobedient.

We have to have works for we have to have works of the Spirit and love or else our faith is void, and it is not coming from people their flesh but from the Spirit, and if we do not do those works then we do not love like we should and cannot be saved for God's kingdom is love.

Love is the fulfilling of the law.

Paul said that out of faith, hope, and charity, love in action, that charity is the greatest.

Love is greater than faith, and faith works by love, so we have to have works of love or else we do not have salvation.

Which Paul said he can have all faith so that he could remove mountains, but if he did not have charity he is nothing.

And said people that covet money have erred from the faith, for the love of money is the root of all evil for it neglects the poor and needy and that is not love.

James says the same thing as Paul that if they do not have charity then their faith is dead, which he points out caring about the poor and needy.

So Paul and James say the same thing while some people argue over the two, and some people do not understand when Paul is speaking according to the flesh, and according to the Spirit.

The Holy Spirit will not twist our arm to live for God so we have to make the choice to want to do right before the Spirit will lead us, which we have to want to do works of love and then the Spirit will help us perfect that, but on our own without the Spirit we would fail at times for the flesh is selfish and the works motivated by wanting glory for ourselves for the good works we do.

Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Jesus said to the first Church that they left their first love, and are fallen, and to repent, and do the first works, and if they did not repent then He would go against them.

Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Jesus said to the fifth Church that their works were not found perfect before God and to repent and do works that are right, and if they did not repent then He would go against them.

So to Jesus works are important for these works are of the Spirit and not the flesh, and they are works of love which love is the fulfilling of the law, and without love your faith is dead.

So we have to have works of love or we do not have faith, for to have faith is to believe in God and His kingdom in the right perspective which is love.

But we are not saved by our works which is something initiated by us according to the flesh, and not led of the Spirit, but we have to have works of the Spirit for to neglect those works there is no love and then no faith.

Which faith works by love, and grace works by faith, so no love, no faith, no grace.

For love is greater than faith.

So God does not choose who will be saved and not saved without them having a choice for His kingdom is love and not robotic love, for if we do not have a choice then our love is not real, our faith is not real, our hope is not real, our confession of Christ is not real, for it did not come from us but from God, and we have no choice but to accept the truth for we can see no other alternative so it would be robotic love which is not true love.

And we do have free will to choose salvation or not, but nobody would of accepted the truth unless God intervened in their life so God gets the glory but we initiated it by our heart condition so God called us, but we would of never gotten to the truth by the flesh alone.

Give an example of Jesus spiritualizing the nation of Israel.
Paul says Jesus is Abraham's seed, not the physical Jews. Abraham's seed = Israel.

All Israel is not born again Israel .

Its seeds plural of earthly Abraham pertaining to the flesh, same flesh as a gentile, same seeds of Adam and Eve or the first martyr Abel .Seeds that cry out from the dust longing to be clothed with the incorruptible body. .

Abraham has a physical seed, being the father of the nation of Israel. He also a spiritual seed, Jesus Christ, the promise.

But God removed the physical unbelievers when he abolished circumcision. Circumcision made one a physical member, not blood.

Yes, when God’s physical people rejected the kingdom, the spiritual kingdom of God was given to believers, Jews and Gentiles. When the fullness of the Gentiles be come in, God turns back to His physical people to fulfill His promises to them. That’s when the Ezekiel passage comes into play.

Jesus says only the born again can see the kingdom. Only those who accept Christ will be united to biblical Israel... us who believe.

Take out the “biblical Israel” and I would agree.
