An earthly knowledge and a heavenly knowledge
a fleshly and a spiritual
a knowledge from man and a knowledge from God.

What does the bible say about the two?
How can you tell one from the other?
Which one are you operating in and how can you be sure?

What is the difference between a truth we believe and one that we testify to?
It is more a matter of our reason or our experience of Gods power?
What makes it earthly or heavenly?

Does thinking you know count as knowing?
Does heavenly knowledge require a lot more then just saying what you think about God and Gods word?

Do you need to walk the walk after Christ in his likeness before you start talking any talk or is an earthly education enough justification to open your mouth as to what it right?

How many of us based on the sin that remains in our lives really need to put our hand on our mouth?

My opinion is that if we peruse holiness in Christ Jesus and if we take up or cross and follow after him and are living a life worthy of our calling then and only then do we have the knowledge from above.
Until then we should stick to Jesus Christ and him crucified and the encouraging one another to the laying hold of the holy eternal life that is our salvation. Knowing God.

thats a lot of questions!

The bible says one has to die to oneself and be born again, so people without this experience really dont know what it means. In a sense many people dont as they've never suffered, fasted or had an NDE where they faced their mortality.

that is why Paul has said 'I have been crucified with Christ, and the life I live in the flesh I live by faith in the son of God, who loves me and gave his life for me'. He had to throw away all the religious learning he had as a Pharisee, and humble himself and be filled with the holy spirit before he could preach. Jesus did say to him he would suffer and know just how much he suffered. suffering meaning his heart would be broken.
He couldnt argue his way or reason his way, that only got him so far. Though the greeks did seek wisdom and the jews a sign. (as thats the way that those cultures learned...greeks perhaps believing by being convinced or persuaded by reasoning on a forum, much like this one, or in schools of philosphy, jews only believing if a miracle happened in front of their own eyes)

You know when I was saved I felt dead inside I was addicted to my video games even though I wanted to be saved it took me seeing evrything I had as trash and I truly felt dead inside
I had to get to the lowest point in my life to be rescued from it and often times that is what it takes for someone to be truly saved. As for your question lion the difference in earthly logic and heavenly is knowing how to hear and listen to the spirit. It takes more than intellect and even years on your belt on being a Christian because you can have a scholarship in bible doctrine yet be completely blind to the truth because we tend to see through our own eyes using our own intellect our own firm understanding

But those who rely on the spirit will be shown what is hidden, in a way I am grateful I have a low IQ because I have to rely on him far more than my own understanding

The Lord tells us we must be like little children and accept all the Lord tells us with faith in the Lord. That is why it is so important to inspect all our church doctrines with the doctrines of the Lord. We need to trace each one to where it came from.

Constantine introduced church councils to answer questions and many questions were answered the Lord's way, some things were added to scripture. But Constantine said the Holy Spirit was with them so they could make decisions to change church doctrine. The Holy Spirit never speaks of anything but the word of the Lord. That word is eternal, always the same. Men say God changed things like Christ's blood instead of animal blood to save our souls. But God's doctrine never changed, it was always blood required for saving our souls, animal blood symbolized the blood of Christ. Unless they gave up sin as they sacrificed, God said he hated the blood of animals.

When demons influence man's thinking they always use the words of the Lord by telling us that is -this- us so then of course -this- must be so. It is how Adam and Eve were enticed, it is the way demons tried to convince Jesus in his 30 days in the wilderness. We must not accept that reasoning.

In Revelations we are told of how God sees seven churches. Only one of the seven kept to His word.
