I suppose you are referring to the forum?
You asked, "I suppose you are referring to the forum?" I am talking about anywhere Satan can influence people to do his will.

we never attack the person only the message and some get confused about that.
There is a difference between attacking a person and disagreeing with what the person is saying.

Satan mainly concentrates on the believers. The non believers are not much work. Apart from getting believer to drift away from worshipping one God, one of Satans top goals is to break up families of believers. That is why in the OT adultery was such a big sin. It is part of the cultural and a badge of honour for some now. One of the top google searches are on how to commit adultery. Satan also targets judges and leaders whether they are believers or not because corrupt judges and leaders, corrupt society.
Satan's greatest prizes are when he can corrupt leaders, including church leaders and government leaders. Certainly he puts a lot of effort into that and has a lot of success at it, it would seem to me.

I can't believe people actually google how to commit adultery. Do you mean
they seek ways of being discreet at it ? I agree with the judges and the many
leaders being seduced into a totally corrupt society. ~

I think it is because we are a society of individuals, all going their individual way. God designed us as family members and parts of a community. Everyone today lives at least partially separated from the support and love that is the earthly representation of Christ, of putting on Christ in our life in the world. Even Godly marriage is rare, even in long term marriages where two become one and establish a loving family.
This is so true RedTent. You hit the nail on the head. Families are not what they used to be.
The younger generation probably won't know what we are talking about. The days when familes
took up for one another, lived in harmony, and if there was a 'black sheep' in family, it was whispered
about. Not proudly broadcasted. They cared how the parents fared up to the last day on earth.
I agree about marriage. Mine is in 50th year. I can't believe where time goes. Scary really.
I don't want to live alone.
God bless you my friend. It is so good to see you. I pray you are doing well.
I must leave again. My husband is thinking I have been on computer long enough ...
God Bless.

Satan wants us to attack each other rather than listen to each other and sometimes learn something new.
He wants us to think we have all the answers and speak with an egotistic authority rather than present our beliefs as a tool for learning and then waiting for the Spirit to guide us.

What Satan wants you to do is to take your eyes off the cross cause then he's got you. Because he know's that when a persons faith is focused on the work of the cross he is helpless and can do nothing.

Odd you should bring that up. I told my husband the other day
it seems everyone is angry. Everywhere we go, someone is yelling
at someone. That evening on the news it was brought up that more
people are angry today than ever. They showed a man in his car
sitting up proper, looking straight ahead. A younger man was out
side the car yelling at the driver and was in a rage. I don't know
the outcome. But it proved my point. In my opinion the demons
are loose. More than ever have been.
They are actually loose inside of man. "As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, it is sin (Satan) living in me" (Romans 7:17). And it's the same for Christians as for non-Christians.

He does this by making you focus on something that also seems good: church service, good works, obeying the law, heaven, eternal life--anything that will take your eyes off the cross. It's possible to pursue these good things separate from the cross.
