What would Jesus Christ say?
Lately, in reading several threads and posts, I was greatly saddened by some of the words spoken to others who did not agree, seeing the attacks, the cruel words spoken, even much being spoken in a way that shows sarcasm and using another as the joke.
Calling the other a supporter of satan for disagreeing with the docturine they have embraced.
Claiming that the understanding they follow is the truth, all others are wrong.
As I read the terrible words, one scripture came to mind.
James;16 By their fruit you will recognise them, do people pick grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?
Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
Now Im no scholar or theologin, Im lucky if I can spell most words correctly.
So as to who is speaking the truth and who is not, well I rest this understanding in Jesus.
But scripture also tells us to look to their fruit, and if the words reciently written here are a reprasentation of that fruit?
One does have to question and wonder.
But the most important question we all here should be asking?
What would Jesus say???
My understanding is the reason we study the scriptures,the bible, is so we will know God Our Father, Jesus Christ Our Lord, His Holy Spirit.
For the perpose of all we seek and learn, is so we will know and seek all in Jesus Christ is Lord come in the flesh?
Jesus said," I am the way the truth and the life(light)!"
The only way we can come to the truth, is in Jesus first, as we study the bible, witness, and love as called to in the greatest comandment, spoken and given to us by Jesus Christ.
So, I figure Ill end this posting with what it began with.
What would Jesus say!
