When Does A Christian Become Immortality/Born Again?

All men will spend eternity in one place or the other.

Men attain salvation unto eternal life in Heaven and become born again Christians the moment they call upon the name of the Lord and yield to His Lordship. It is instantaneous.

A person is reborn when they are led of the Spirit which a Spirit led life will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh for they have crucified the flesh with the affection, and lusts, and show the ways of the Spirit, and not the flesh.

Which then the kingdom of God is within them as they show the ways of the kingdom of God on Earth.

But the Bible says that some have a form of godliness, but deny being led of the Spirit, and are ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth, which they are lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God so the kingdom of God is not within them, and they are hypocrites enjoying sin and led by the flesh.

Which God said in a great house there are some to honor, and some to dishonor, so there will be some rascals running around the Church, but God said if they do right then they will be a vessel unto honor.

To be absent is to be present with the Lord so when you are with Jesus then you have immortality in reality, but if you are led of the Spirit you have immortality awaiting you.
You are a bit confused. This is what the Bible says:

John 1:12 & 13
12But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— 13children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God.…

The moment that an individual accepts Christ, he is born again. This is more than intellectual acceptance of facts about Christ. It is receiving the Person, in the knowledge of who He is and what He has done by His death and resurrection.

It is possible to be born again and yet not live in the power of the new birth. Paul told the Corinthians to expel the immoral brother (1 Corinthians 5), which they did. He also told them later to restore the brother as he had repented (2 Corinthians 2:4-16)

Many of us struggle with sin after we are saved. I was a heavy drinker. I failed twice big time after I was saved. I knew that I was wrong and I quit drinking after the last failure.

Eternal life refers to the spirit of the person. Immortality refers to the physical body.

No such thing as "sinners prayer" in the Bible. Its man contrived nonsense that does nothing for the one that recites it. It cannot and does not save.
I correspond with an evangelist. He leads people to Jesus every week. He does one on one either face to face or by zoom. He uses the term "sinner's prayer". No, it's not in the Bible. Neither is the word "rapture". Sinner's prayer is simply shorthand. If people are being saved and born again, it matters little how they come to know Jesus. Some use the "Roman road" (that worked for me), some use Romans 10:9 (which does not refer to the initial, born again experience) and some use John 1:12. As long as the person is convicted of their sin and comes to know Jesus as Saviour, that's all that matters. We are not saved by a method. We are saved by Lord Jesus.

I have been thinking about the OP and the different posts, but have not received any revelation on what Jesus was talking about to Nicodemus.
:unsure::rolleyes:... What part of it do you not understand???????

It is by scripture we as Christians are not Born Again until we are caught up to be with Christ 1 Thessalonians 4:17, and 1 Corinthians 15:51-58
You seem to have "being born again" confused with glorification. Men are born again when they become Christians.

But here are some views from Bing:
In Christianity, being born again means having a spiritual renewal or change of heart by accepting Jesus as the Savior and Lord. It is not about physical birth or external requirements, but about receiving salvation and becoming part of God’s family1.
Mr. Bing is correct.

Also, we will be in prayer about this process.
Not a process. We simply receive the gift that Jesus made available 2000 years ago. Justification is instantaneous. The growth process is called "sanctification".

your question is not grammatically structured properly. a Christian can not become born again because a Christian IS ALREADY born again. 1st, you become born again, then you are a Christian.. when someone says "the sinners prayer" & truly believes in God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit, then you become Christian at that moment.
The word warns about following manmade traditions. because they have the ability to make God's word of none effect. (Matt. 15:6) In other words they steer people away from God and His lifegiving message. The "sinner's prayer" is not in the bible it is a manmade tradition.

Paul stated having the Holy Spirit is essential to be accepted of God. (Rom. 8:9) Believing does not automatically bring about that reality. We know this from Paul's question recorded in Acts 19, "Have you received the Holy Ghost SINCE you believed?" The question shatters the illusion that belief alone provides for the indwelling of the Holy Ghost/Spirit. Further, the question indicates Paul was going to assist the group in receiving the Holy Ghost if they hadn't already had the experience. Please read the entire account in Acts 19:1-6 it provides the answer to how a person becomes born again via water and Spirit. Note: The detailed account mirrors the instructions given by Peter over 25 years earlier when the NT church was birthed.

Peter provided instructions when asked "What must we do?" by those on the Day of Pentecost. It is noted in the last verse when the group was considered born again Christians:

"Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, (THEY BELIEVED) and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? (WHAT ELSE IS NECESSARY)

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls." (Acts 2:36-41)

i didn't say it does save. God;s grace saves us. i put sinners in quotation marks because it's what a lot of people refer it to. Romans 10:9 is probably the best verse explaining "confess with your mouth". i probably could have explained it clearer but sometimes i try to type as little as possible because my hands are too big.
Confess with your mouth is what the Ethiopian eunuch did in Acts 8, meaning, he confessed his belief in Jesus as the Christ which is what Romans 10 means.

Acts 8:34-38

34And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other man? 35Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus. 36And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? 37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. 38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

“And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!””

There are not numerous ways to be saved or "come to know Jesus" if you equate being saved with that. When you look at all pertinent scriptures regarding salvation, you end up with a short list if what is required to be saved.
1. Belief and faith
2. Confession of your belief
3. Repentance
4. Water baptism

Upon doing the above, your sins are remitted, you receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, and you are added to the body of Christ which is his church and become a Christian, a child of God.

I was born again about a year before I was baptised in water. I'd never heard of the word repentance. All I wanted was to avoided going to hell. Repentance came after as I began to see what sin was doing to me. I also discovered a desire not to offend God that was completely new to me. I want to know and do God's will and I had a desire to study God's word. None of this was true before I was born again. Confess my belief? I couldn't shut up, much to the disgust of my colleagues.

Salvation is what God does and He does it how He chooses, using what methods. Some read something in a Gideon's bible, some have a vision, some hear Billy Graham or another preacher. It is of God that I am in Christ Jesus. That's in your bible too.

Anyway, you missed the point of what I was trying to convey. Never mind, you'll get it one day. I hope.

Read your first sentence. It's not possible to be "born again" before you were baptized. How can you be born again while still in sin? You may think you were, but you weren't. Totally unscriptural.

Maby the list you make in 1.,2nd.3rd irritate a little bit.
In my life, i heared about Jesus with 17 and i reject him, but I believed that there is God.. When i Was 25 i heared again from the gospel. I suddenly understand that I am a sinner and had no chance to stand before God. I became the inner drive to accept Jesus in life, because i understand that he pays for my sin. So i went to the youth pastor. He showed me some passages from the word of God and I belived that they are true. Then He told my I should pray to God and ask Jesus to came into my life. I confessed all my sins and asked for forgiveness. Since this time I know that I am a child of God and that he lives in me. Since this time I could distinguis false from right teaching. I was baptised as child in the protestant church, but I searched a church where the word of God is preached. The Lord lead me a mennonite brethren church, where I later was baptised, because bible says we should as confession to the world. But I am shure if I had died before the baptism I would be safed.

Your belief that you were saved before baptism is vain, it's not in accordance with scripture. Acts 2:38 very clearly tells you that. It says to repent AND be baptized: Why? For what reason? For the remission (forgiveness) of sins. So it's not until you're baptized that your sins are forgiven. Before baptism you're still in sin and lost. After baptism, your sins are remitted or forgiven, so you're saved. It goes on to say that upon baptism you receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, not before. And if you read further down to verse 47, you see that after doing so, repenting and being baptized, the Lord adds you to the church which is the body of Christ. That's what the scriptures say, so it doesn't matter what you think or believe.

Acts 2:38

38Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

John 3:5 says it all: '....except a man be born of the WATER & of the SPIRIT.....".
