When someone uses the term "lost" person, what does that mean?

this is a small witness of the meaning of 'LOST' for myself - I craved what the world offered to me...
I desired to be like everyone else as far as clothes, shoes, dresses, make-up, jobs, just in a nut shell
desiring to 'fit-in' and be like the 'world', 'make it'...I was so influenced that I honestly think that I would have
given up everything in order to get 'what I wanted' at a certain part of my life, before He began to call me...

when I look back, I can see it all very clearly and I can honestly say that because after my conversion,
Christ took my shame, and allowed me to see the 'why' I did what I did...

I praise His Holy Name, every day of my life and give Him my whole heart now, but, oh what a
journey it was in order for me to get where I am now...

If we see a person who seems to have no relationship with God, we sometimes use the term, "lost" person.

Why?

Support thy answer with Scripture, if thou cannest.
Not only do we use the term, but the Bible does use the term, for Jesus came to save the lost sheep of Israel, and the parable of the 100 sheep, and one was lost.

They are lost because they have no relationship with God,which means God cannot find them in a spiritual sense, and they have no hope,or benefit, concerning eternity, but will be separated from God.

Gen 3:8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Gen 3:9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

God sees all things, and knows everything that goes on in the universe, and nothing escapes His sight.

Adam and Eve were created knowing God,and having a relationship with Him,but when they sinned God said, where are you, which God sees, and knows all things,is this a symbolism that when they sinned, that they were lost to God,that they lost their relationship contact with Him,and God could not find them in a spiritual sense.

When they sinned,God said, where are you,for they were lost to Him,although God knew where they were.

So the lost are not really lost, for God knows where they are,and we know where they are,if we can see them, but they are lost to God in a spiritual sense, because they do not have a relationship with Him,and He cannot see them in a spiritual sense, but can only see them in a physical sense.

If you are not saved,God cannot see you,or find you,in a spiritual sense, for you are lost that way,for you are not spiritual for Him to see you,or find you,in a spiritual sense, but can only see you in a physical sense.

The saved God can see,and they are found, for they are spiritual being with Jesus.

Adam and Eve were made in the image of God,so they had that spiritual relationship with God,although they had the capacity to sin,and did sin,and then they were lost to God.

If you are not saved God cannot see you,or find you,for you are not spiritual,so there is nothing for God to see,or find, because it does not exist,so you are lost to God in a spiritual sense, although He can see you in a physical sense.

What is the definition of "lost" if not "without a relationship with the Lord"?
