I actually put in bold font the areas of your post where I drew the conclusions or my questions from. let me clarify
1. If Adams body enjoyed the immortality of his soul at creation, and our earthly lives were not meant to end in death as you said, then the question is, do you believe that man is truly flesh or mortal as commonly believed. We say man is dust and to dust he shall return, therefore death is inevitable. You have already answered the question of inevitability of death. The next is, did God made man flesh"or dust? your post seems to answer no to this question. I just want to be sure that is what you are saying or not saying.
2. By asking, is flesh an offshoot of man as a result of sin, I am asking whether it is sin or God that made man dust {flesh, mortal}
3. if the answer to number 2 above is sin as your post says ( Adam's body obeys Adam's will unobstructed leading to the mortality of his body}, we can conclude based on your post that God did not make man flesh or mortal, therefore the common interpretation we give to Genesis chapter 1: 27 and 2:7 is not correct, for we say God made man dust and to dust man shall return. Is this what you are saying?
