Faith is a gift, you can surely own it as your own.

But it didn't originate in or with you. You were not naturally born to believe the record God gave of His Son. In your natural state you were at enmity with Him, bearing fruit unto death and all spiritual matters from God were foolishness unto you.

And drop that "dictator" thing. If God didn't move with His Spirit on people, causing them to believe the gospel, none would believe. The drawing might be "forceful" if you will then, but to quicken somebody who's dead and bring him back to life is nothing but the greatest love.
He certainly brought Lazarus back to life with force (loud shout, "Lazarus, come out!"),

and dead Lazarus had no say in the matter.

can't even have an honest convo where ppl admit they have listened and learned from men and have their own ism.
the isms are all over the board.
from this week alone.
fightin' tooth and nail for 'em.
then not....then ya...then no....eh:rolleyes:

a monergist tries to say what monergism is and get the anticalvin hammer.
regardless of how many times ya ask please don't lump in with that vitriol.
but, no avail.

cuz only calvinists and monergists have strong beliefs.
whatevah.

off to garden.

Maybe so, but at least she has taken the first step. She has recognized the ism. As opposed to many who hold to isms but like to pretend they don't, mostly for purposes of self conceived spiritual superiority.

^ This is definitely a feature of Rastafarian-ism.

Yes, Jimmy. Scripture is all you need, classify me as this ism or that ism as you wish. But, could it be that those isms that you say I am a part of have taken certain Truths from Scripture and from there, you conclude I am a part of that ism system.

You're not a scripture only guy.
Because you see from your long hard studies in school that this ism and that ism takes certain principles from Scripture and conclude that I must be of that ism. Just because you classify me as a certain ism does not necessarily make me that ism. Deductive reasoning will have it so.

I'm not a theology major. I'm an education major.

Nope, I have not claimed you are an ism by virtue of me declaring you such. Rather, I declare you as such because you are.

Then tell me, which ism am I of? Am I a follower of that man or this man? Yet, perhaps, I am a follower of Christ, truly, a Christ-ist. When one says they are a follower of this man or that man, then does that not say that that one is not a follow of Christ, but of that man?

lucky for lazerus, he chose to recieve Gods grace long before he was raised from being physically dead.. Where he had no will or anything,, He could not sin while he was dead either could he??

He chose to receive God's grace after he died?

Are we given a choice after we die?

Tommy says:

"Professed Christians today are the Perfect example of a Pharisee; Clean on the outside, but defiled within. They take great pride in their ‘form’ of godliness but lack any inkling of a godly life. They sin daily in thought, word and deed because they are inclined to constantly submit to the passions and desires of their flesh."
I don't know whom you are talking about, but you are not talking about me.
