The first Gospel in the history of writing, the Gospel of Mark, we find echoes of this complete absence of miracles. In the Gospel of Mark, its writer tells us about Jesus going to his city of Nazareth, except that Jesus (he could not do there not a single power [meaning not a single miracle], except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them) [Mark 6:5]. Of course, this limitation (he could not make there, not a single [miracle] power) is totally unacceptable to the writer of the Gospel of Matthew, so he paraphrased the sentence thus (and he did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief) [Matthew 13:58], that is, after modification The writer of the Gospel of Matthew, who took over the story, did miracles there but not many and blamed the absence of miracles on the people of Nazareth for their unbelief.
Mark was not written to believers in the gospel of Jesus Christ according to the mystery.

I am not christian!
Either am I. Have you heard that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again according to the scriptures ?

You need to believe this to be saved;

1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Prayer is talking to God . Go directly to the UNKNOWN GOD. And say, "Jesus if you are God. Prove it . Show me. Give Him some space. See if you get answer.” Save you a lot of time. He died for us , and guess what? He really did rise from the dead. Jesus is Alive . The Bible is encrypted to you until reconciliation you get yourself reconciled to God until then you have not downloaded the ability to understand , eternal , spiritual wisdom. Understanding the Bible comes after reconciliation with its author, there are false teachers on this website and not all paths lead to God. Jesus is The Way , The Truth , and The Life. Get it in gear . The ability to understand the Bible , your eternal identity , God’s love for you and His plan ( much better by the way ) beyond a fresh start plus relationship with God The Living Resurrected Jesus Hey hope you get this. I’m 72 next month. Started when I was 24 . Jesus promised me life and that more abundantly. It has been. Keep your soul close to the Bible . “ If you continue in my Word then you are my disciples indeed and you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free”. The Bible is the revelation of God to us and our user guide forever. God’s Word. Trust Him. It is impossible for Him to lie. My family both parents and 4 sibs rejected “religion” back in 1974 for years but I pursued God because I had His promises. They all came to Jesus , Dad on his deathbed in 2000, some took years . It is not easy to have a Biblical view of life. But you know like Neo what is down that road. Take the red pill Amigo . And let your new life with God show you how far the rabbit hole goes.

Psalms 139:1-18 NLT
O lord , you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, lord . You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand! I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night— but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you. You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!

It seems to me that Christ tells us to give our life to Him, and that is salvation. You can sit on a hill looking down on all other people and committing what Christ told us is the same as murder, yet declare over and over that Christ saves, and that way give up your salvation.

Scripture tells us the message of Christ was repent, the kingdom of God is near. We say that message was to come to Christ for salvation. Living in the earth as strangers, with our real home with the Lord, includes going to Christ with faith in all of Christ. It includes living for Christ as listening to Christ with faith in what we are told by Him.
amen there is no salvation that doesn’t include what Jesus said about salvation and indeed salvation means we’re living for Jesus not ourself

“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:14-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it shows how secure false doctrine makes people the argument you run into in threads like this ends up bieng salvstion doesn’t come like Jesus said it does. At the point we have to deny what he said will save us , it’s because we don’t want to hear it

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3:19-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

after spending time in the gospel it’s impossible to not hear the call to repentance and right living but when we do some folks don’t want that type of salvstion they prefer the darkness rather than the light of truth

“Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people. My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭51:4-5‬ ‭

we have to come into that light of his word to have our sins brought to light and remitted through repentance

“If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:6-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Our part is to walk in the light of his judgement and let the word fix our hearts

My experience was God layed His hand on my life and the conviction that I was living without Him was overwhelming . Had to make room for the Almighty God in my ego-centric life. That is the purpose after all ,No longer I but Christ. It was obvious that what He was leading me to was a much narrower way.
