Your outward show is worthless if your heart is evil.

As a Christian one thing we should desire and pray for is a clean and pure heart.

Proverbs 26:25
When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.

Is your heart in right standing in God, or your speech?

Mark 7
4And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables. 5Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands? 6He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

The Pharisees had a tradition that they wash their hands often, before eating, when they percieved Jesus' disciples eating with unwashed hands they found fault, after Jesus had rebuked their man made tradition he hilighted in is not whats on the outside that makes one clean, but rather whats in the inside (heart).

Your could be homeless and have a clean heart.

I pray that we all seek a clean and pure heart, God bless you all!
