According to Wikipedia, John Todd was a criminal. And occultist. I guess I must have read about him somewhere in a born again literature.
Dear friends, I believe the subject of John Todd does not deserve much of our time. Any more than we should talk about Jim Jones or David Koresh or David Berkowitz (Son of Sam) or Charles Manson. But there are some disturbed people. Many people have serious mental illnesses, but not all the seriously mentally ill are criminals. All people are sinners. We have, all of us human beings, a disease called sin that only The Great Physican, Jesus Christ our Lord, can cure. Apparently John Todd did some seriously wrong things. I am sure I have done some seriously wrong things. I believe there is a certain part of Christianity where people sin and this is the unhealthy, dark side of the Christian churches. It doesn't matter whether these are in Greek Orthodox, Roman Catholic, or Evangelical Protestant circles. There is some serious stuff going wrong, as in pedophilia and abuse against women and some bad things like these, pornography, masturbation, homosexuality, rape, incest, and all sorts of other perversions, and what is even worse, murder and violence against people, arson, and crimes of violence, people torturing and murdering other people. God save America from these crimes.
