'Little children' and 'little ones' are simply Bible lingo, a Bible way of saying, all who are saved (born anew). We read:

"Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven."

This is not simply talking about persons a few years old, but about all true believers.

Incidentally, the apostle Paul's name means 'little'.
the verse is talking to the apostle s , who were grown men. about entering the new life. etc

a biblically children Honor thier parents, they heed thier parents, believe them. obey them they accept the parents authority over them, they Know they are Loved, and still have a fear of rebelling. they trust thier parent, learn from thier parent, respect thier parent.
13 And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them.
Let the children come to me

may be a lesson that modern parents need to learn.( Let the children come to me)by faith or church going.

word like hinder or stop would be the key point here.

In relation to this....

Matthew 18:1-5: "At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me"

A lot of focus on humility. Children are humble, not proud. Additionally they are very forgiving, trusting and teachable. We can learn from children. Just as they trust their earthly father we're to trust our Heavenly Father.

Matthew 23:11:
"But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted"

Matthew 5:5 (Beatitudes): "...Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth"

James 4:10: "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up"
[h=2]whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.[/h]that would be adults as well . because you would have to come as a child to form some sort of growth, in understanding, and form some kind of foundation.
for example

the apostle were with jesus for around 3 years , before the cross.
but some how were blind, yet after pentecoste that blindness was replaced by remembering things that had happened in that 3 years. then the spirit lead them forward etc

To receive the kingdom as a little child means, I believe, that we have to come in the same kind of absolute trust in Jesus as a child would normally give to a loving, kind parent. If we approach Jesus doubting His word and works, apprehensive about the conditions, and fearful to trust him completely, we have not yet entered the kingdom. When Jesus knocks on the door of our hearts only that kind of trust will allow us to give him complete freedom to come in. The soul who is fearful, hesitant, etc. will not open the door and therefore not experience his love, goodness and salvation.
the bible has the word have faith in, would this be the same as trust in.

without being told who knocks at the door, would you let them in. so there must be a introduction
for example

acts 2 and acts 10.

give two different introduction , yet word were spoken to tell these people who was knocking at the door.

ie cornilous was told to send for peter etc
