I believe Jesus is already here. He lives inside of each of us.
you don't believe in the literal return of Christ? the bible says that Jesus will return in the same manner that he left in. literally in the clouds. God forgive you for your apostacy and unbelief.

I believe that Jesus is God in flesh. I believe God is already here. That doesn’t mean Jesus can’t return.

I understood your posts perfectly well, but you can be a little ambiguous at times. By the way are you a Quaker, or have you ever been in contact with the quakers?

No, I’m not a Quaker nor have I ever known one. I am a United Methodist.

Ambiguous? Sometimes it seems that way. God was Father, Son, and Holy Ghost all at once, I believe. That might sound ambiguous, but it’s perfectly understandable when you realize a man can be a father, son, and husband all at once.

I asked because you put a lot of emphasis on the divine indwelling in man, which is something the Quakers are famous for.

The first and great commandment is that we are to love the Lord with all our hearts, minds, and souls. He is a living being, and he wants us to get to know him personally.

To be honest, I absolutely am not looking forward to it. The return of Jesus means judgement day. There are just too many people I love so much who wouldn't be on the new earth. It actually scares me...

Sadly, another who declares his version of the messiah is a liar ;-(

"The Messiah, The Son of The Living GOD", DID "Come Quickly" just as He promised!

And for those who have "ears but can not hear", while there is breath there is Hope!

For Miracles do happen.......

Father Help! and HE does

Sigh.... Christ has not yet returned. The world is still run by the devil.

1 John 5:19) We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

You don't quite have your spiritual ducks in a row, ElderChild.

Your foolish talk and jesting reveals the spirit that moves you ;-(

If you ever experience The Miracle that is receiving "a love of The Truth" let me know.......

THY Kingdom HAS Come!

And IS Heavenly!

The brethren of The Messiah, "the sons of GOD", are in and of The Family of "Our Father and GOD", and so it is that we choose to be but "aliens and pilgrims while on the earth", for we have realized that our "citizenship(Life) is in Heaven"?

Why would "aliens and pilgrims" create a system of religion, or love this wicked world and it's things?

Why would we love our own(self, ego,id,"I") life in and of this wicked, evil world, especially when it is promised that "whoever loves his life in this world will lose it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it unto Life Eternal"? (John12:25)

And so it is that we continue to sound The Call of "Our Father and GOD" as we exhort others to "Come Out of her, MY people!"

"Come Out" of the systems that are of this wicked, evil world(babylon) and especially it's systems of religion!

Be of those who "forsake all," "Yes! and their own life also", just as The Messiah did!

Be of those who tarry in, yet are not of, this wicked, evil world!

"Aliens and pilgrims while on the earth" indeed and Truth, for soon, and very soon, we will be taken Home, Home at last!

Till then:

Father Help! and HE does.......

Peace, in spite of the dis-ease(religion) that is of this wicked world, for "the WHOLE(not just a portion) world is under the control of the evil one" indeed and Truth.......(1John5:19)

Thankfully Truth IS, a lie never was, and is not.......

Abide in Truth....... francis

When Christ does return, the world will no longer be under the control of satan.

I believe the bible teaches Christ will return first for the Christian church (rapture). Then comes the period of the tribulation which will last about 7 years. Following that, Christ will return to earth with his armies to fight armageddon and set up the millennial kingdom. That is when satan will be bound.

The return of Christ is still future.
