What is the greater work in Jesus?
To discourage with our hates?
Or encourage with our Love in Jesus?

Yep they learn one thing and never try to see if what they learned was even right or not. My family did it this way. I hear Pastors saying lies all the time and their are many people who believe what the Pastors say. Like baby birds with beeks wide open. It's very sad. God has has people out on missions. People in the watch towers keeping a look out and praying for the Pastors and the blind followers. Many Pastors will be killed right in their churches in the days to come. Using Gods house to lead the sheep astray. Hopefully theres still time for people to repent. Even time for them to learn they must repent. Everything is just so out of whack.
Mmmmmm... I sorta agree and sorta disagree. I think it's also because a lot of people aren't in fellowship with God and so hearing the sermon/lesson is one thing but not having seen anything "work" in the past causes them to walk away and forget. Basically, what I'm saying is John 13:9-10 and John 15:1-17. Their body is clean (salvation) but during the journey, their feet will get dirty. Everyone's feet will get dirty. If they don't wash the feet, you'll start growing cool green things. You'll even get boils and other wonderful maladies and every step becomes painful. Once you wash the feet (confess sins and repent), then your feet are clean again. Then you can continue on your journey without the pain. Same idea with the vine & branch analogy. Your branch is like (as in, is similar) to those branches that get cut-off and thrown in the fire. The fire refines you but you are not cut-off. But the longer you remain in the mud and dirt, your branch will continue to be infested with mould, fungi, and disease.

The problem is that most people don't know that they need to continue to confess and repent. No one has ever told them or clearly explained to them, I guess? So when the going gets tough and remains because they are still in the disciplining phase, they give up because nothing seems to work.

[aside]robo, have you considered adding RefTagger? It will convert what I have above (John 13:9-10) into a popup verse where you roll the mouse over. It's also free: http://www.logos.com/reftagger .[/aside]

Afraid of having there pet doctrins smashed.
If you are blind to the TRUTH and have made your mind up that..I am right (Arnt I Jesus).
Then you are in for a shock when Jesus returns... I cant even post 1/2 the subjects I'd like on most christian sites as they have there minds closed... even if itis the truth and slaps them in the face.
EG, The stars are forever!

I thought Jesus said: Fear not I am with thee, be not dismayed I am thy God, I wil help thee I will strengthen thee, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righeousnes.
Well if your so right.... why do you fear other peoples doctrins?
I got anoyed from the sanhedrin of other sites restricting my freedom in Jesus:
That I decided to post my own forum and its FREEDOM.

FEAR NOT, your a son of GOD for Christs sake.
Ya like that...
OHH the tread: http://free-christian.phpbb3now.com/index.php
If you are going to quot scripture you should use word for word.
you add words where ever you like.

: For Jews will demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom but we preach Christ crucified a stumbling block to the Jews and folly to the Gentiles :
1st CORINTHIANS 12:7-11 (The gifts of the spirit) perhaps you may have something but its up to each individual to look into his or her heart and seek the Lords take on it, sorry I will not accept spirit guides nor will I look into doctrine outside of what the Holy Spirit has given me to understand. The old story better safe than sorry?Call me a traditionalist but I trust what I know. You were right on the false doctrine thing though and the wolves in sheep's clothing so my advice such as it is beware even Lucifer can appear as an Angel of Light???

I used to be very critical of those that were os single minded and afraid as you say.
But Jesus humbled me and I saw it is he that is the way , the truth and the light.
He calls all to him with understanding.
Who are we to say how Jesus should do this?
We are called at times to correst a brother or sister in Jesus.
But to Judge so many based on the path you walk is wrong.
Example: all chidren learn, but each in the way that helps and the parent knows will give them the confidence to believe and grow.
I think the question we must ask of ourselves in Jesus is why it bothers us so?
Many years ago, while I was in church. I looked out opon everyone. I saw the way others believed and acted and was angry because of the hipocracy
that I saw.
I was also very discouraged in others.
I asked Jesus to help me see all as Our Father does.
Suddenly as I gazed out apon all I no longer saw fault but a great love for all there.
Even though no one changed in apearance, Isaw children, all struggleing as a small child does to learn and please their parent.
The sight of their sin fell away and for a few moments I knew a great love for every one of them.
That moment changed so much for me. I knew then that we all are his children, each follwing Jesus. Our petty differances no longer mattered.
Because I came to know through Jesus that we all are just learning to walk. Some have a harder time, some have things that have injured them, so they must be healed before they can continue. Some have had a hard fall and are afraid to try again, untill they find courage in Jesus again.
Yes there are times we need to speak to a brother or sister over a spacific sin.
But we are all called to help each other in our walk as well.
It is so easy to judge.
But true Love in Jesus is to serve and live that which Jesus has called us to do in faith, hope and Love.
Honor others above yourselves.
A scripture that calls us to think about how we live in Jesus with each other.
God bless, pickles
ps, I always found it interesting that in revalations that it is addressing seven different churches.
from the letters one can see that there are different ways that each believes.
Yet all do believe in Jesus.
God bless, pickles
