You are nearly on the right track..we are here to love God with our entire hearts, minds, strength and souls and in so doing we will love others as we should...we will do all those things you list..if we just do the things you list without having love for God then we are failures as human beings

there are other quotes to consider such as your good works are as filthy rags and see Corinthians 13:3 and though I bestow my gifts to the poor and though I give my body to be burned..if I have not love, it profits me nothing

Yes that is right and because we do not know the mind of God, we may never know fully why He wanted to make us..we can only know by what He tells us in His word

Because He wants a free willed soul mate that will choose Him. The only kind that brings fulfillment.

Made in His image, we want - and fairly can have, the same thing.

I love this story about Mother Teresa
She was being interviewed by a reporter and at some point she asks him if he wants to see the face of Jesus. The reporter jumped at the chance. She walked him around the corner to a man lying on a mat, she lifted his head and said to the reporter this is the face of Jesus.

not about good works it is about loving Jesus *_*

our good works are as filthy rags when we do not have an attitude of love for God..we need to love God with our entire heart, mind, strength and soul and you are right in that we show that love for God by how we love and show love for others but we can still be devoid of love for God and still show love for others but that is failing God so it is a sin

we are here because we have been gifted with the beautiful gift of life. God thought we were so special that He would give us a shot at being human on the earth that He created for us. That is why we are here, to experience the gift of life from our Heavenly Father.

yes and God says that all humans are liars so we must be very careful to know what really is true and what is false
