Why did the Jews not recognise Jesus?

No my friend. There will be reaping what we sowed, but no encore. When Jesus comes, unbelief is ended. Believes are changed and unbelievers are destroyed. The end.

Jesus was BORN in Bethlehem, and so fulfilling scripture. The Jewish leaders, unaware of his birthplace, but only his hometown of Nazareth, pointed to the scripture that the saviour would COME OUT Bethlehem, not Nazareth. But the clue to Jesus identity was given by the prophets, that later, he would be called a Nazarene, Matthew 2: 23.
