Jesus is the Son of God for He is the only human to be conceived by the Spirit of God where the saints are adopted in to the kingdom.
Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, which means that God manifest all His attributes to the man Christ Jesus for He is the fulness of the godhead bodily, where the saints have partial attributes.
And the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God for He cannot be separated.
Which the man Christ Jesus does not have His own personal Spirit that moves around with Him for there cannot be a double portion of the Spirit in one place, and an empty space where the Spirit is not at.
But the man Christ Jesus moves through the Spirit and wherever He is at the Spirit is there.
Which the Son was made according to the flesh, and when the fulness of the time was come God sent forth His Son made of a woman, made under the law.
And the man Christ Jesus is the personal human body of God which He laid down His life for us, and purchased the Church with His own blood.
Jesus is God and man, and He is the Son of God for God is His Father, and He is the Son of man for Mary is His mother.
Which the throne in heaven is the throne of God and the Lamb, God in the glorified body of the man Christ Jesus.
The man Christ Jesus is the Son of God.
Now concerning Jesus being God the Son you will have to talk to them for these scriptures seem to not add up to that.
For the Bible says but to us there is but one God, the Father.
And in another place one God, the Father, who is above all, and through you all, and in you all.
And the Son shall be called the everlasting Father.
And Jesus told Philip that if he has seen Him, he has seen the Father, and the words that He speaks are not His own, but the Father that dwells in Him, He does the works.
And if Jesus has no beginning as God the Son then why is He called a Son if was not created.
And if they say He was created as God the Son, God said before Him there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Him.
But if there is only one God and not 3 persons in one God, then it makes sense.
But whatever they believe Jesus is God and man.
They say believe in the trinity, but the Bible says there is one God, the Father, and the Son shall be called the everlasting Father, which Jesus taught we only have one Father.
So what are we supposed to think.
Uh-oh, your still a mixed up on issues. Since the Father is identified as God we have no problem saying, "God the Father." And in like manner the Son is identified as God why would saying "God the Son" be a problem for you?
Now, Jesus Christ is "NOT" God the Father based on the verses you provided. Isaiah 9:6 which is about the Son exclusively is not God the Father just because it says of Jesus "Eternal Father." It means Jesus is the father of eternity or the orgin/source just like at Revelation 3:14. Oh yea, Jesus is not "made" nor was His body created. The "Word/Logos" in the person of Jesus Christ the Son became flesh. John 1:14.
Also, John 14 is "NOT" teaching that Jesus is the person of God the Father. Look at John 14:10, "Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me. The point is Jesus cannot be "in the Father and be the Father at the same time.
You also mentioned the Trinity and please notice at John 14:16, "And I (1 person) will ask the Father (two persons) and He will give you another Helper, (3 persons) that He may be with you forever." You made this "rhetorical" statement, "What are we suppose to think?"
Well that's the question, because your not thinking? (And I am not putting you down). Read the words in context, study, use commentaries, do word studies and dig deep into what the scriptures are teaching. Don't just "surface" read. For example, John 17:3 where it says, "And this is eternal life, that they may know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom Thou has sent." Or at 1 Corthians 8:6, "yet for us there is one God, the Father, from wwhom are all things, and we exist for Him, and one Lord, Jesus Christ by whom are all things and we exist through Him."
If Jesus must be excluded if God is "the only true-God" then why is not Jesus excluded elsewhere where God is said to be "the only" something? There are multiply verses in the Bible where God or Jesus is called "the only," and yet most people, i.e antitrinitarians and even trinitarians have no problem including the the other one.
Here are a few of many. John 17:3, Isaiah 43:10, Isaiah 45:18. Is the only one who is King of kings, 1 Timothy 6:15 and Revelation 17:14. Is the only one who should be worshipped. Revelation 14:7, Matthew 4:10, Matthew 28:9. Is the only Creator. Isaiah 46:24, and yet Jesus is the creator at John 1:3, Revelation 3:14, Hebrews 1:10 etc. So, think!
IN GOD THE SON,
