Hi FreedomX, the Bible is special and real and true more so than any other book because it is the very words of our God. And I agree with you that the Gospel message, that Jesus Christ died for our sins and was raised from the dead on the 3rd day, is a simple message that everyone needs to believe. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

God inspired the Bible through the control of the Holy Spirit over the writers who wrote the Divine Word. Each of them wrote in his own language but under the direction of the Holy Spirit in facts and words.
The original Bible was written in Greek and Hebrew. It has been translated into thousands of languages.
There are hundreds of copies of the Bible from the first and second centuries.
If there are mistakes in the Bible, this means one of 2 things;
-- God made a mistake (which is impossible)
-- The Bible is not nor has it ever been the word of God
God is powerful enough to protect His Word (Isaiah 40:8 " The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of our God stands forever").
Jesus said (Matthew 24:35 "Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away".
(2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.)
